Great location and funky decor at the SoHo Grand Hotel. The staff were very friendly and warm. They were also very helpful. The breakfast -- the ambiance, food and service were outstanding. The biggest issue we had was when we were checking out. We called 3 times and asked in person 2 times to have a bell person come to...

Dear Kim R, Thank you for sharing your review. I am happy to hear that you didn’t allow the delay in your luggage to affect your overall experience on what sounds like an otherwise lovely stay. I will investigate the drop in communication, this is not the service standard we work hard to provide our guests. We do hope we...

Awesome hotel. Stay nowhere else in NY. Fabulous location - funky decor - awesome bar. Doormen are a cut above. Friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. Can't recommend highly enough. Been numerous times and Soho Grand is a home away from home. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Back in February, I received a promotional email from the Soho Grand announcing their Winter Flash Sale. If we booked a room by the end of March, we could get a room that usually goes for approximately $450 for under $200. Who could say no to that? We loved our visits in 2014 and 2015, and were definitely up for...

There's so much to like about the Soho Grand. It has an awesome lobby, 1 flight up from the ground level. It's in Soho -- a great location. The breakfast is terrific. Fresh, lots of choice, yummy. Teatime or cocktails in the lobby/lounge with comfy couches is totally great, except for the occasional pit bull. (Sorry, I'm allergic to dogs.)...

Dear trip_1963, Thank you for sharing your review. We are animal friendly, however, dogs are allowed in the lounge, not the Grand Bar or Club Room; we take pet allergies seriously and meticulously clean the space each night to ensure our guest’s comfort. It is the perfect place for a night cap or an afternoon of people watching. We look...

Front desk not so great at checking but then they work at a "trendy" hotel. Checkout was fine. Dark hallways aren't especially my cup of tea but the room was nicely appointed if small. The breakfast was good and service very good. Note: Valet park with them is cheaper than across the street on your own.

Dear BobPhibbs, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that our front desk did not leave you with a better experience. We pride ourselves on service, hearing we didn’t go above and beyond is disappointing. Please email me directly so I can gather a few more details and make sure we use your feedback for training and...

The best thing about this hotel is the quality of its staff, especially the breakfast team under Zwenska and the bar staff led by Stevie. Still not sure about recommending to guests the bar and lounge on a Friday and Saturday which were very busy and noisy during my last visit.

Dear James M , Thank you for acknowledging Zwenska and Steven, they will both be thrilled to know that you recognized their service. Although our hotel guests do get priority seating, we recommend a reservation to assure you have no delay in being seated at your desired time. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance....

Absolutely love this hotel and cannot fault it! Have stayed here twice (April 2016 & sept 2016) always had a great experience. Rooms come with the most incredible views and breathtaking sunrise! (if you get the view over the soho mews direction) defeat cocktails , selection at breakfast is unbeatable, staff always so so friendly. Love it !

Stayed at the Soho Grand for 2 nights on a short business trip around Tribeca vicinity. The property enjoys an excellent location, with many choices for dining nearby. Did not see if there was a subway line nearby as it was a comfortable walk to the places I wanted to be. I loved the Grand Bar, the ambience, the old...

Staff incredibly courteous and welcoming, very friendly. Great location for walking around, restaurants, etc. Hotel not "Grand" but nice boutique hotel, room small but comfortable. Think nod to Pre-war or vintage chic. Lounge with comfy sofas are great for a drink, or try the whiskey bar.

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
