I had not been in this gorgeous hotel in many years and was thrilled that I had selected it. It is a “class act” in every way. The staff is most professional but also warm and welcoming. The architectural details are exquisite. The bedrooms are beautiful with every creature comfort. The location is also excellent and a convenient jumping off point for all areas of the city. Harry’s Cipriani Restaurant, located in the same building, is a marvelous and glamorous spot with delicious food. They provide the breakfasts for the hotel’s guests. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so very special.

We had a fabulous visit to the Sherry-Netherland Hotel. The staff and management takes great care of their guests and makes certain their guests are comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully decorated -- real pleasure to be a guest staying in these rooms. The doormen are extremely friendly and welcoming. Elevator operators kindly and professionally escort guests to their floors, and remember the location after one ride. Housekeeping services the rooms twice a day and makes certain the room is well supplied. Anything extra we wanted or needed was promptly addressed. We were treated royally at the Sherry Netherland and would be thrilled to visit the hotel again.

Where do I start? We entered the Hotel and were called by our name before we even registered! Then we were told they were going to update our room, I have no idea why. We were taken up to our room and our mouths dropped at the beauty we observed. It was a modern room on the second floor looking out onto Central Park and 5th Avenue!! There was a window seat that we sat in every day. Views were amazingly beautiful! Honestly words can't describe how thankful we were to be in NYC for our first time and be in this exquisite hotel. The hotel had elevator operators who learned your names and floor number quickly. The employees of The Sherry Netherland were dressed elegantly. In your room was a refrigerator with free bottle waters and sodas which was stocked daily. Flowers and candy welcomed us to our room also, as if we needed anything else. The bed was very comfortable and with two BIG windows in our room, it was extremely quite. The location is also a big, big plus. You are close to everything. Please don't miss the ceiling when you enter into the hotel....absolutely amazing. I could keep singing this hotel's praises but will just tell anyone who is considering staying here to do so. You will be thankful you chose this gem!!

Everyone in the hotel was so friendly and welcoming. Great location. Room service should be improved, continental breakfast too expensive for the low quality food. Room was spacious and comfortable, and having Cipriani’s below was great for celebrity sighting.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and you felt welcomed. Cipriani is a tenant of ours and we work closely with them. Unfortunately we don't set their prices but I will certainly share your comments. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Visited in 2017. The Hotel is located in the most famous corner of the world. The room is bigger and more comfortable than the average for NY and amenitites - like water and fine chocolate - are refilled every day. We were lucky enough to get snow in April. Must say that go down the elevator and just cross the street to get to Winter Wonderland in Central Park was priceless. We did a last minute trip to NY in 2018 and we stayed in a different hotel in Upper West Side , which we truly regreted, the whole experience was very downgraded when compared to the days we spent in Sherry. Our reservation for november/21 is already done and we are looking foward to this pandemic mess be over as soon as possible so we can depart to this very expected vacation.

It might not have the prestigious name like “The Plaza” or “The Ritz” but you wouldn’t be disappointed here. If you are looking for modern, this is not the place. It has the most beautiful historic vibe to it. From the moment you pull up to the sidewalk, to the moment you get to your room, you will at minimum pass five people looking to assist you. The rooms are lovely. Not modern, but classic and comfy. Comfortable beds and sheets. Complimentary Molton Brown products in the bathroom. Not an expansive/expensive mini bar, but a nice complimentary offering. With all of the pluses mentioned, you can’t beat the location. Most certainly worth a visit!!

We had another great stay at the Sherry Netherland. We love the feel of this hotel as it gives you the feel of an old great NYC residence, but while the building may be historic and the decorations not "modern", they are appropriate, well maintained, and you get the benefit of large rooms, tall ceilings, and really great service and friendly staff. You feel like you live in NYC when you stay here as opposed to cold distant hotel staff. We have always had a great experience at the Sherry. We love walking out the door and having the park directly across the street. We highly recommend this hotel. We also love it because we can get a nice suite with attached king room (if planned in advance) and when you get a reservation you get assigned THAT ROOM and you know you will have your family together in these connected rooms. This is a great family hotel for families visiting NYC. The rooms all have at least a small fridge stocked with water and sodas, they give you a little treat at check in, and they just treat you like you belong there when you stay there. It is difficult to describe the experience, but you feel like you have a home in NYC rather than a room.

My family of 4 including 2 young girls had an amazing 5 night stay. We booked our stay very last minute and we’re blown away by our experience. The hotel is stunning! We felt like we had stepped back in time with old school luxury. I can’t say enough good things about the service. It was so personalized and at a higher level then we have become accustomed to seeing at the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. There was even an elevator attendant 24hours a day! Our suite was huge and had a kitchenette with stocked mini fridge that was refreshed daily…for free! We’ve been back for almost 2 weeks and we can’t quit talking about this hotel. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Hotel! They took care of every little detail. They gave us a very big room with no charge because they knew it was ny daughters first visit to new york. The hotel takes care of every little detail, leaving chocolates with a personalized greeting card when you arrive. The location is very perfect, just in front of the central park zoo. It is very clean and the people are very nice and friendly. The room and bathroom are spacious also, which is weird for new york.

This was our second visit to The Sherry-Netherland. This property is truly a gem in the city and among other high end hotels. The attentiveness and genuineness of the staff truly sets The Sherry apart from other similar properties. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable. Simply walking in the hotel room door, immediately relaxes us. We had the chance to dine at Cipriani's which was equally wonderful.

Hi We look forward to having you come in April. Our city view rooms look down 5th Avenue. The Apple Plaza is seen as well are the GM building. You are not up against it. There are also city view rooms that face north and you see partial views of the Central Park and architecture of other buildings. I hope this helps you.

It is not small, and the panelling is beautiful - from the Vanderbilt mansion. Also, there is someone to push the buttons. Concentrate on the elegant details of the paneling, and you’ll be on the third floor before you’ve even noticed the doors have closed.

Suite 711 has a stove with an oven, as does suite 301, and suite 2111, however, none of the ovens are convection ovens.

We do not have any bars or restaurants on a high floor with a view, though our concierges will be happy to direct you to other neighborhood bars and restaurants with views. Our only restaurant is Harry Cipriani, which is on the ground floor, just off the main lobby.
