This was a great hotel, very friendly. Mohammed was excellent at the breakfast bar. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay close to time square. Restaurants are close by and many of them deliver.

I've been around the world but this place is unforgettable to me, I love the lights that embraces the city and the people are so different but they use to collaborate with each other, the city that never sleep

This hotel is not fancy but is quite convenient for those who want to be in the heart of New York. The hotel is located just around the corner of the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art of NY), of the Rockefeller Center, it is just a few blocks of the St. Patricks Cathedral and Times Square (as it says in... Majority of rooms are old with grubby peeling wallpaper and paint, crusty carpet and musty and dusty smelling. I don't know how anybody can stay in them, they made my skin crawl. Requested a 5th floor from when I booked and paid 5 months before my trip but they did not give me one. Instead got one of the terrible... More

OK, I usually stay at the Herald Square Hotel (31st street and 5th avenue) but as it was fully booked, I had to go for an alternative. I picked the Manhattan at Times Square Hotel primarily because it is even more central (Times Square) although it was more expensive. You know what? It's actually a very good Plan B: the... More

Stayed on the 21st floor of this hotel recently and had a great view of the top of Times Square. The hotel is really central for anything you might visit as a tourist. The bed was clean and comfortable but nothing else was. The corridors, room and bathroom are badly in need of refurbishment but even more than that, they... More

We arrived at this hotel and had to wait in a queue to be seen. People checking out skipped the queue and got served first meaning we had to wait even longer. They asked for our credit card checking in which we had seen on previous reviews which we gave but still asked why and was told it was hotel... More

Let me start by saying that the room where we stayed in this hotel is somewhat antiquated and can use a bit of facelift, but overall, this hotel is great! The hotel location is two blocks off broadway so its in the middle of everything. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The price was reasonable and we great deal... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
