I spent 3 nights in a room with a double bed and a river/park view. I was traveling solo and love the UWS. I needed somewhere safe and clean, and had planned the trip on the fly so I was looking for somewhere very affordable....More
Travelled at the beginning of December with my daughter. The room was ideal as there where two beds separated by the shower room and toilet which gave us both a bit of privacy and my daughter didn’t have to put up with my snoring. It...More
It's always difficult to find a good hotel to stay in Manhattan at an affordable price. I believe that staying close to subway, Central Park, and other attractions is most important and Riverside Tower Hotel is a great way to achieve it.

Riverside is an okay hotel. The most positive aspects of the hotel are its location and the professionalism of the staff. The location is just a few blocks from a subway station and it is adjacent to Central Park. It is also close to many...More
This was my third time visiting New York but my first time to stay in Upper West Side area. As this is more of a residential area, I find the atmosphere laid back. Our room has a nice view of the Hudson River. There’s a...More
Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson River, the Upper West Side offers iconic architecture and a quiet, residential respite from the buzzing energy of downtown. Along Central Park West are many of the city’s most iconic apartment buildings, as well as the American Museum of Natural History, which has been welcoming visitors to its historic exhibit halls for over 140 years. Culture fans will love Lincoln Center,
home to some of the world’s best opera, dance, film, and theater performances, all centrally located around a beautiful fountain. Spanning the entire length of the Upper West Side, Riverside Park is ideal for a long, leisurely stroll in a quiet green space.
We didn't have a car when we stayed in NY, but the area around the Riverside Hotel is, like the majority of the city, safe. Good luck driving in the city though, I would opt for the subway or walking any day!
