Beautiful hotel. All but one of the staff were extremely helpful. Room had a cracked sink, tears in the wall, floor board lifted and the bathroom shower base looked like it was smashed with a hammer. When I reported this to the first desk, they told me that was terrible and I was only staying one night so did I really need to change my room? Naturally when I got the survey at the end I filled it out appropriately. I did receive an email back thanking me for bringing this to there attention and they hope this does not deter me from staying there again.

Excellent service from top downwards. Left a cake, Chocs and non alcoholic fizzy drink prior to our arrival as it was my birthday. This was done by the Manager himself (Melvyn). Went the extra mile to assist. Really good location if you want to stay in the hub of Times Square. Staff were all very helpful. Would definately use again.

Spent a week in one of the most amazing rooms with a balcony overlooking Times Square. Great central location if you are exploring Manhattan. No issues with noise for us & we loved the quirky decor throughout the hotel. Didn’t have much interaction with staff as we were out exploring so much. A really lovely surprise on our anniversary when we got in to a bottle of bubbly & some chocs. Made our day. The hotel takes a $100 a night deposit for any incidentals but they don’t tell you the amount at check in. This is capped at $500 per stay so imagine our surprise when we checked our pre-paid currency card to see they had taken a big chunk of our holiday money on check in. We didn’t spend anything in the hotel and we have been home for over a week now and we are still waiting for our $500 refund. No email to contact the hotel who did say they would email us our final bill (they haven’t) so have resorted to social media to ask for our money back. If it wasn’t for this matter of poor communication /customer service we would have rated the hotel top marks!

I had a really bad experience at this hotel during the busy trip last week. I got the bug bites for two days, but hotel didn't do too much about it besides change a room for me and kick the issue among front desk( African American lady but I forgot the lady's name), house keeping manager (Melissa), director of security (Jesus Ferrer). They didn't do the full scope pets control nor that I received an reports. The hotel said it's up to corporate center to send out reports and the corporate center said it's up to the hotel to send out report and corporate center doesn't has access to it. I wouldn't recommend stay at this hotel if you are concerned about potential bug bites.

It was our first time visiting New York, we picked this hotel based on location and reviews. It was absolutely amazing, the location in Times Square was fantastic, service was great, from start to finish, including all the staff, we always felt safe and welcomed no matter what time of day or night. We stayed here for a week, it was fantastic. Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We drank and ate in the R Lounge, which provided fantastic views of Times Square. Wadud was our host most nights in the R Lounge, was so friendly and helpful and the service he provided was above and beyond anything we had experienced before, and he really made our stay. Food was amazing and would really recommend this place to anyone. Thank you again Wadud, you always remembered what we were drinking and for being so friendly, it really did make our stay.

If you want to be right in the heart of Times Square, with all the noise and action associated with it, then this is a great spot. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient and the room was very clean and a nice place to be. The restaurant has amazing views over TimesSquare, but be aware you can’t just go in and have a drink and take in the view, access is a little restricted to those wanting to eat and it’s not open all the time. Wi-Fi is not complimentary and were initially sold a package on arrival to include Wi-Fi and visits at over $30/day , but having reflected we didn’t think this was good value but the hotel were quick to cancel and give us free Wi-Fi anyway. Also be aware the water in your room isn’t complimentary either and we got charged $6/bottle! Overall a nice hotel in the busiest part of NY.

Let me start off by saying the concierge and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly during our 3 night stay. This hotel might be for you if you don’t mind bright lights in your windows or loud noises from the busy Times Square area. My 2 star review comes for other reasons: - Our room 1602 was very loud at night with Times Square street sounds (cars revving engines at all hours, music, & garbage trucks) - You have to take an elevator to the lobby the transfer from there to the elevators up to your room. We waited for 10-15 min for elevators upon arrival because not all of their 3 elevators were operating. We waited for these elevators almost every time we went up to our room - The last two nights people beside us were slamming their doors until at least 1:45am. They had a screaming kid that we could easily hear through the walls. We called the front desk who sent up security. That did not solve the noise issue. We called the front desk a second time, and they offered to send security up again (at 1:45am) but said they could not switch our room bc the hotel was fully booked. We had to wake up at 4:30 to make it to the airport, so that was a torturous night. We paid a lot to stay here for an overall poor experience, and we are shocked the hotel did not offer to provide some type of reimbursement. To be honest the sleeping here was miserable. We got next to no sleep. Def would not stay here again for the reasons listed above.

Loved our 4 night stay at this hotel, right in the heart of times square, nice clean rooms, great views from window, great views for breakfast, breakfast was nice. Only thing I would say is the cost to use WiFi was steep but probably same for most hotels in the area.

Stayed at the hotel during Easter Weekend for a Staycation. Room: Booked a terrace room on the 4th Floor. The room itself was very roomy and very clean. The bed and rollout were quite comfortable. The layout of the room was somewhat strange with the glass sink outside of the bathroom right next to the bed. The terrace was large but adorned with fake grass and "farm animals" on the terrace next door. Great view of Times Square and area. Large building A/C unit on 4th floor made for much noise on terrace, but the room was well sound proofed once terrace door was closed. Common areas: Strange. Upstairs lobby resting area adorned with "Q-tips" on the ceiling (see picture). In one area there were two with yellow staining which I told my wife looked like Q-Tips with ear wax. Each floor has some kind of design or art in the elevator waiting area. Our floor had a chair made of old shirts. Another had doorknobs on the wall. Some floors had the "farm animals" and I presume the others had some sort of "artwork." Service: Great. Location: Phenomenal! Overall: Nice unique stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our selves.

Once you get past the shock of the entrance, that the elevators are slow, that the AC isn’t really AC, that other than a nice breakfast the restaurant isn’t much to speak of you’ll realize that you chose this place for its location. If you want to be in the heart of Time Square this place fits the bill. But you can do so much better. I’m a loyal Marriott customer and it’s brands but this leaves a lot to be desired. Key features, the in room safe’s door won’t stay up that’s a safety challenge, the AC won’t cool any lower than 72 degrees and the elevators are slow.
