For the past six years, when our travels bring us to NY we are excited to stay at the Lexington. The staff have made us feel welcome over and over again. From the moment we walk through the door, until our departure, we feel spoiled and cared for. We were hoping to return to the Lexington the last week of May, but at this time it sounds like the hotel is closed. Mr. Wassenhove, we send you our best, our prayers, and hope the Lexington will open again very soon - we miss you - A. Mark Vitti

With the hotel currently being closed due to COVID-19, I thought management might appreciate a nice review, albeit a historical one. My wife and I stayed here in August 2015 and fell in love with NYC. After getting off a long flight and navigating our way from Newark, we arrived at the hotel to be greeted with the best service we have ever received in a hotel. Throughout our week long stay, all the staff were so helpful and considerate. We couldn't have asked for more. Wishing the team at The Lexington all the very best and we hope to come and see you all again later this year when you'll hopefully be open again.

We visited in early March and were happy with our stay. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and the receptionist Lydia was very friendly and welcoming. Our Jr. Suite was a good size for being NYC. It was 1 bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room. The purpose of our trip was celebrating my daughter's birthday by watching a couple of musicals. The Lexington was well located to the theaters. The only downside we ran into was the restaurant. One evening we tried to get a late snack/light dinner at nearly 11pm and weren't able to. We were told the kitchen was closed. I then remarked it was okay and would order room service and was told there wasn't any room service. Of course we weren't happy about that because we were hungry. We managed to find something at a market across the street. If a hotel as a restaurant connected to it then room service should be offered. The hotel did offer complimentary water bottles, coffee, and tea in the lobby. Overall it was a good hotel and experience. I would stay here again. I would just keep extra snacks in the room. =)

Thank you for taking the time to share this 4-star review with us, Lizzy! It was a pleasure to have you stay with us earlier this spring in March! We love that you visited us in celebration of your daughter's birthday! We're glad to hear your positive remarks about our comfortable, spacious accommodations and close proximity to some of the city's theaters. Thank you, also, for sharing about your experience with our onsite restaurant. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused you during your time with us, and will pass along your feedback to our team. We hope to welcome you back sometime in the future for an even more positive stay! Have a wonderful day, Lizzy! William van Wassenhove Hotel Manager

Hotel was in good central location, walking distance to most attractions (weather permitting). Staff were courteous, friendly and accommodating. Room & Bathroom were clean and adequate but not the largest. All in all good value for money.
