Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Nestled near Times Square, the Sanctuary Hotel New York garners compliments for its spotless rooms and commendable service, with the staff's warmth and professionalism often highlighted. While some guests enjoy the cozy, stylish vibe, others find the atmosphere a tad dark and the rooms on the smaller side. The hotel's location is a hit for exploring city attractions, but opinions on value and amenities are split; comfortable beds are a plus, yet the breakfast and room size leave some visitors wanting. Despite this, cleanliness and the central location are consistently praised.

Lovely atmosphere! Beds comfy and comforters and pillows were great! I love that they sit low to floor. Hair products lovely. Breakfast standard continental. Always prefer hot but I get it! Will stay again. Nichole gets a shout out for being super helpful and kind.

Every person in this hotels’ staff is incredible. All my requests and expectations were either met or exceeded. The beds are AMAZING and the food at the Haven Rooftop is to die for (don’t skip out on the lobster roll with truffle fries, I’ve haven’t stopped thinking about them since). Delvis and Billy (the doormen) were both so friendly, and gave out really great recommendations for food and experiences! Rachel, Nichole and Dustin at the front desk are angels, very patient and warm. Can’t give these people enough praise! The Hotel Manager was a wonderful help and really does go above and beyond to make sure my fiancé and myself left satisfied. We were both so entranced by this experience, we’ve already booked our next stay for this summer! I wouldn’t recommend any other Hotel in NYC.

Great place, and a lovley stay. Definitely recommend. Location is perfect. And breakfast is great. Times sq is literally 100 yards away. But very quiet at night. Vichet was extremely polite and helpful. Back soon. Rob and family (Manchester)

I can only say great things about the Sanctuary. Every member of staff we had dealt with was very welcoming & pleasant & nothing was a problem for them. I was given a lovely surprise for my birthday which I only knew afterwards they were happy to accommodate after speaking with a family member back home & helped organise everything without a bother at all. The location is great, stone throw away from Times Square. However, with it being it so close, every night I managed to get a good night sleep. Our queen room was ideal for us, clean & comfortable. Continental breakfast again was ideal to pick up something before setting off early in the day & there was always plenty of choice with food & drink in our experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel & would love to go back again one day in the future.

What a great hotel. Perfect location to access NYC with ease. Staff were friendly, helpful and always had a smile to greet us. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to be in the heart of the Apple. Thank you to Raychel, Nicole, Vutha and Jonathan to name but a few of the staff.

Been there in our recent trip to NYC. Eddie, one of the hotel managers, was a great find, so glad we met him at the reception. He showed great empathy and understanding for our situation (we Just had a very negative experience in another hotel Just prior to coming to The Sanctuary). Great manager AND great Person. Because business it's not Just made of Money, but mostly of people and thier humanity too. Thank you Eddie, you were the best Person in the worst situation.

A perfect location. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are on the smallish side but good enough and any maintenance needed was done immediately (we had bulb gone). CLean and tidy throughout. Good breakfast and some of the best music ever!

Nice room with a great location in Time Square but the breakfast was terrible and no coffee making facilities in the rooms. Will not return because of this. The guys on the door (Vichet and Vutha) were really nice and helpful…………………………………..

A really good base for me to go to work and for my Mum to explore NYC. The twin room was very cosy and the beds were amazingly comfortable. 24 hour tea and coffee facilities in the reception area are welcome. Great service from the concierge, Jonathan, who orgainsed our check out and airport taxi.
