Large clean apartment with good central heating. Always very obliging with responding to requests. In saying this there is no room service, no restaurant facilities just a little shop selling limited take away food items, no simple items such as an umbrella, no mini bar or tea and coffee making facilities.

I visit the Big Apple several times each year...always try to stay at Park Central. Love the location for theatre, park visits, museums...just about everything. Starbucks at the corner...who could go wrong. Most recent visit...room 1619 seemed to recently redone, they should have dealt with the EXTRA SMALL bathroom...definitely a negative. Will stay again...no reason not to.

I recently had the pleasure to stay at the Park Central Hotel. We were planning a surprise trip for a family member and I was lucky enough to work with Quimby. The service and attention to detail provided by Quimby and everyone else at the Park Central hotel was exceptional. I have read other reviews complaining about the team at...

I joined my daughter's choral group on their trip to NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall. The Park Central was right across the street, and it was also extremely convenient to all of the sites that we were planning to visit. Between walking and reaching a subway, it was a perfect location. The staff were quite professional and courteous. It's...

We arrived mid day and were able to check in quickly at that time. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, great location 10 minute walk from Times Square. The little coffee shop in the lobby was great in the morning for good coffee, muffins and fruit to get you started. I'd recommend it.

The front desk staff was personable and knowledgeable. The room was a good size with a super comfy bed. Great experience! The proximity to theaters, restaurants, and Times Square makes this hotel a win/win! Kate T.

This hotel is in the perfect location to stop in during the day to drop off shopping bags and such. The room was clean and we happened to have a large room because it was a ADA room. It is also decorated like a high end hotel, but came with with a really great price! I will stay again when...

The best part of this hotel is the location. You can't beat it. It's close to the subway, and it's walking distance to Times Square, Central Park and other major tourist attractions. One negative thing about my stay was the air conditioning did not cool enough on our first day, despite the thermostat being set to 65 degrees (and it...

This hotel is in a great location. Many attractions are in walking distance (such as Carnegie Hall, Times Square, Radio City, Central Park, Rockefeller Center) and the subway stop is 1 block away. Hotel facilities are fine. Staff was okay but not particularly friendly.

It's the facility fee and the taxes (five lines) that are kinda annoying. The hotel can't help the taxes, of course, it is NYC. The king room on the 17th floor was clean and well appointed, modern design. Staff was professional and courteous.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
