This hotel is right in the heart of Times Square. If you are planning to see a show or just want to be in upper manhattan this is a great choice. Great views of Times Square. Rockefeller Center, Newscorp, Central Park, trump tower are all within walking distance. Great restaurants and bars all around. Only problem we found with the...

Arrived at the Marriott Marquis after a busy day at a trade show with another associate. We had confirmed reservations. On checking in at 6:30pm, we were told our rooms weren't ready but would be in an hour. We were offered a free night at another Marriott property in NYC or a $100 credit. God knows where they would have...

We arrived Friday night, 2/17/2017, and were thrilled with the hotel. It is in a perfect location on Broadway. On one side of the hotel you will find 3-4 theaters. A block or two away there are multiple theaters. It is also just 2 blocks from the subway on 42nd street. The hotel is huge, very clean, nice bar, great...

Loved this hotel, the rooms are SO big compared to most NYC hotel rooms, comfy beds and great service. Fred at the front desk was so kind! You cannot beat the location, would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Rooms are great. The facility is first class for sure. My maid was horrid. The room was never really cleaned. There was stuff on the floor that could have been pickup up with a simple vacuum that sat for four days. Right after cleaning I went into my room to find trash on a side table, dirty glasses and a...

The views are wonderful and the rooms clean but there are long lines to check in and if your room is not ready you have to stand in the line all over again! It is pricy due to location and sells out way in advance. The staff is cordial but not friendly. We had to wait in line for over...

My daughter (16yrs old)had free reign when organising our trip to NYC. She did a pretty good job - one of our memories was spent at the Revolving Rsstaurant where we enjoyed mocktails overlooking an ever-changing skyline view of Manhatten. Definitely worth a visit - drinks a bit pricey but we put it all down to experience. No queues, friendly...

Here five days for a conference. Great location. Has several restaurants on site. Staff very accomadating. Beds are really good and outside noise is almost non-existent. Our room was a king and the room size was good.

This hotel has great proximity to theaters and to major subway lines. It also has some of the largest hotel rooms in the city. The large bar is very comfortable for a woman alone and has a good food menu for a quick dinner or snack before the theatre. The hotel tends to be very busy and is in the...

The hotel is well appointed, staff very friendly. The rooms are nice and quiet compared to other hotels I have stayed at that are nearby. My room was a touch on the perfumed side and had a leaky showerhead. The elevators can be very slow at times but that's pretty normal when a convention is going on. All of this...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
