We were there for Spring Break with our Family. What better location could there be to show our grandchildren ages 10 and 8 NYC. The hotel was perfect for us. We had large spacious rooms which were clean and bright. We enjoyed the breakfast area and the lounges in the evening. The children were able to get desserts and snacks...

We come to the Marriott Marques every year for 5 days to see shows. Rooms and service is more than satisfactory. Check-in and check-out are a breeze with the mobile app. My only complaint is the service in the terrace bar. The servers are great but there are too few of them. The bar food is very good.

Stayed here one night on a business trip. It is a large facility, which could be exciting or daunting depending on where you are from and want you are looking for. This is not an intimate hotel. There is a sweeping open atrium that is not advised for those subject to vertigo. But that openness is welcome for me in...

poor and cons, very good location, despite a room on times square (which is a very good point) the room is very quiet and silent (I was expecting more noise from the street) so good surprise. (I was on 22nd floor) I regret a bathroom getting old and no upgrade despite a platinum membership, a higher floor and upgrade to...

If you are going to theatre and there is a snowstorm and no cabs to be found, then this hotel is in the right place . If you are participating in one of the many business functions the hotel has simultaneously on 6 different floors, then this hotel is in the right place. I could not think of any other...

I'm a frequent personal and business traveler. I have stayed with Marriott all over the world and had more than 130 nights with the chain last year. If this hotel were my first experience with the brand, I'd never return. The location of this hotel is right in the thick of Times Square. My check-in was unremarkable - friendly enough,...

Without knowing anything about the location or hotel, the staff members answered many questions by email and in person. Very clean rooms. Even in the middle of a very busy area the room was very quite and comfortable

The location is prime, right next to Times Square and not too far from Penn Station. It's really nice to have the option of logging in to your Netflix/Hulu account to watch your shows, if you want. I didn't eat there or anything, but the fitness center is very nice. The grout is a little grungy in the shower, but otherwise...

We came to NYC to see Eric Clapton at MSG and Bette Midler on Broadway in Hello Dolly. The Shubert Theatre was a block away from the hotel. Times Square is not my favorite part of the city, but for our purposes the location was ideal and the view from the 41st floor could not be beat. Junior suite was...

Service was excellent and room was spacious. Also enjoyed fitness center and concierge lounge. The only negative was the elevator system. It seemed like only a few were running and system didn't keep track of how many people were in a designated elevator so you glad to re-enter your floor if it was full.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
