Le Parker Meridien Hotel is a classy luxury hotel in a very convenient location in Mid-Manhattan. The hotel is located at the center of Manhattan, and, yet, it is tucked away on a relatively quiet street. The hotel has luxurious facilities and amenities, including a high floor indoor swimming pool with breathtaking wall-to-wall view of Central Park. Staff members provided...

Great central location, about three blocks from Central Park and a leisurely 15-minute walk to Times Square. Being a Platinum member with Starwood Hotels, I was upgraded to a large room on 32nd floor. Has rooftop pool. Room was clean and quiet. Close to good restaurants and shopping. Great for going for a run through the Central Park. Hotel staff...

Stayed one night in February. Arrived early and was given choice of rooms available or to wait. Decided to wait and they texted my phone when it was available. Very efficient. Rooms are not hug but clean and quiet even with construction across the street. Room was on 23rd floor. Pool on top floor is not big (hotel photos are...

We have stayed at various hotels in New York as a couple but this was our first trip with the kids so we wanted a pool. We knew it would be worth paying the extra and the facilities were fantastic, never too busy, lots of floats to borrow, always a life guard on duty etc. Unfortunately the rooms themselves are...

Le Parker Meridian is located in the best possible place to enjoy all that NYC has to offer. We walked up and down 5th ave, through Central Park, and to Times Square. Lots of good restaurants are nearby too. The staff is tremendously friendly yet professional. The rooms are nice and pretty roomy. There is a great mix of business...

I was very disappointed to find that we could not use the air conditioner on an unusually warm evening in February. The room was 72 degrees all night. All rooms are centrally controlled only and the AC was not activated in the whole hotel because of the season. We opened the window but on the 10th floor the street noise...

...this is the hotel for you! You can make an explicit reservation for a king bed and be given a room with two twin beds. Great for business travelers who are 12 years old and sharing rooms. Most other hotels that have rooms with two beds give you two queens or at least two full beds. But Le Parker Meridien...

Dear qased, Thank you for staying with us and for letting us know what you thought. I'm so sorry that we were not able to honor the bed type you booked. Unfortunately, another guest unexpectedly extended their stay leaving us with a deficit of King bedded rooms. I can assure you that this is not something that happens often, as...

Definitely a budget buster, but LPM has frequent offers that are great to take advantage of. The staff is professional and efficient. The reception desk entry, through a very minimal but elegant modern lobby, hides the real gems that are around the corner: a classic historic lobby and the sumptuous hotel bar (with an exit onto W57th St). At booking...

Nice location close to the Central Park and shopping areas. Breakfast at Norma's is a must although it's very pricey. The rooms are typical NYC size i.e. small but that comes with the territory. Overall, a good value and a reasonable hotel.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
