We loved this hotel because it is close to everything while still off the beaten path. You can walk to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and all of the Broadway Shows. At night there are several bars close by for a drink and a snack. You will love it here. 😊

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW

I have just returned from this hotel after a five night stay with my two adult daughters. This hotel is built in the Art Deco style. The lobby is fabulous and includes The Nave bar for drinks, tea or light snacks: Very interesting decor resembling a church. The main restaurant opens from 6-3:30 and serves breakfast and lunch during these hours....

Dear Phyllis H, Thanks very much for your nice review. I'm very pleased to read that you so thoroughly enjoyed the hotel! The Egg White Frittata of Shrimp is one of my favorites at NORMA'S too. The next time you're here, you should try our newest restaurant, Indian Accent. Its Executive Chef, Manish Mehrota, brought his famous New Delhi restaurant,...

The lobby is gorgeous. The rooms are fine. The biggest disappointment was that my key card didn't work, and I had to make a trip back to the lobby to get it fixed since no one answered the house phone. I was then told to 'just call security' if the new key didn't work..crappy service considering not only my loyalty...

The Parker Meridien had all the basics and a fine staff. But, it was far from exceptional. It was not the most expensive hotel in midtown Manhattan, but not the least either. After entering the snazzy lobby we expected more from the room. The park view was a long distance peek over the ongoing NYC construction (not their fault). There...

Writing this at 1:10am as I have had a jackhammer going under my window for the last 5 hours. The hotel will not move my room tonight and offered up only earplugs (great for morning alarms). As a platinum member of Starwood I would have expected much much better. Never staying here again.

Dear Kate V, I'm very sorry that you were disturbed by noise outside the hotel. Unfortunately, the gas company needed to perform emergency repairs to a gas main in the street outside of the hotel. Like you, we had no warning that this work was going to be conducted. Had it not been an emergency, the repairs would have taken...

I have to say that this hotel has some fantastic amenities conveniently connected to it. For instance, Dry Bar is located downstairs in the hotel. A great perk. Also, a make up studio, Blushingtons, a Skin Laundry, a nice gym, beautiful pool and the. barbershop is great. My son had his hair cut there. He loved it. Another plus is...

Where to start. Bar and Lobby are stunning, drinks are $23 and that took off a lot of the shine, Burger joint off the lobby is great, but 2 burgers, 1 beer, and no fries came in at $27.00. (They were good burgers ). The room (park view) was a big disappointment, sparse, curtains for closet doors, no storage, tiny bathroom,...

Dear Patrick S, Thanks for staying with us. I'm sorry that your visit didn't live up to your expectations. I'm sorry that our food prices were higher than you'd expected. Prices in NYC are generally higher than other parts of the country. Our Concierge can point you towards great restaurants at any price point. I'm a bit confused by your...

The beds are extremely comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring manhattan. There were two rooms in our booking which ended up being very far apart (different lifts to access) so I'd advise specifying if you want rooms to be on the same floor. Both the breakfast and burgers are an essential part of the trip.

Wonderful location. Check in with Ashley was perfect. Staff was attentive. Norma is a good restaurant stop for breakfast. Rooms could use some updates. Fun rides in elevators with Tom and Jerry cartoons.

Liked the location of the hotel. Very easy access to subway. The Concierge was very helpful and liked the Knave bar. We were able to exit hotel either through 56th or 57th street which was helpful also. Went 1/2 block to the Wayfarer restaurant. Only problem was breakfast was very expensive. You saw people every morning coming back into hotel...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
