The hotel is bright and very well appointed. The decor is beautiful and updated. The room was spacious, especially the shower. There were no odors. The bed was comfortable. The bar and restaurant in the lobby is open and conspicuous. The hotel is within walking distance to major sites. Grand Central Terminal is about 5 blocks from the hotel and the... More

Great, great location, just down from central station and the Chrysler building. Didn't eat at hotel but rooms were good size for NYC and loved the coffee machine. We ate breakfast at the deli across the street, the sausage meat and egg wraps were awesome... miss you everyday New York City......go Giants !

[Fraud Billing, TWICE!] We checked in on September 19. We planned to stay until September 24. Unfortunately my partner had an emergency issue on September 20 and had to stay in the hospital for a few days. So I came back on September 21 and asked if we could get the refund for the last two days. You checked with... More

Spent a weekend in NYC at this hotel. Very convenient to Grand Central Station.Arrived early as we had tickets to a show. There were no queen rooms avaiable at the time and the person at reception upgraded us to a king room at no charge and we were able to check in. Lobby is large and well appointed with a... More

Stayed here for just one night for the first time over the weekend. The location is good, a bit farther to get to times square, but not a problem, a bit more walking. It's a very large upscale lobby and the room was a good size with a large bathroom. We checked in early and the front desk graciously employee... More

Stayed 2 nights at the Intercontinental Barclay and was very pleased. Arrived early and was able to check in and not only get a room right away, but get upgraded to a king bed! Staff was very friendly. The room was so nice! I was pleasantly surprised. It was all beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were not too great... More

Just finished a weekend stay at this lovely hotel. Everything is completely redone and hotel is in great shape. In room coffee maker, lovely decor, lots of nice amenities in room (robe, hair dryer, comb, nice toiletries). Price was reasonable for what we got, location is great. Staff all seemed perfectly nice. One negative that guests should be aware of:... More

I am not one to write negative reviews, and quite frankly I was not going to if the person at the front desk were to be more action oriented, however I feel it is important to give my honest opinion, and will now do so as nothing was done to rectify our inconvenience. We stayed here for our 10 year... More

So impressed with this beautiful hotel! We went to NYC for the first time last month and we were blown away by the impeccable sevice and beauty of this hotel. We arrived at 10am tired from NZ expecting to check in at only 4pm. Arthur at front desk welcomed us with the most amazing friendly attitude and told us our... More

The hotel was decent, a good location and a nice room. However the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I didn't sleep all week and would wake up with hip pain, back pain. The mattress felt like a very low quality mattress. For this reason alone I would never stay at this hotel again. It... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
