Absolutely amazing hotel! Rooms are so spacious and clean it was beautiful. Location is perfect, an easy walk to Times Square and all tourist sites but a little bit outside of the crowding around Times Square. They offer a $75 per day 'lounge' package to access a buffet breakfast, snacks throughout the day and hors d'oeuvres. This was the absolute...

Dear Managers, We have frequented many Hyatts and accordingly Club Level Amenities. The quality of the food and accommodations were quite comparable to D.C., Chesapeake Bay, and Berlin. HOWEVER, unlike these locations, people were not cleared by a staff member upon entering other than displaying a card. Thus, probably explains the overcrowded atmosphere. We actually overhead "5 friends of a...

I booked here to stay for my 30th birthday trip to NY. Check in was great. I paid extra money each night for what was supposed to be an "upgraded" room... boy was that a joke! The room was old, carpet at the edges of the walls were dirty. Cracked floor boards. Heater wasn't working. I purposely left my shredding...

Not only is the Hyatt in the perfect location adjacent to Grand Central, but the staff here is fantastic. Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. The people are the reason I keep coming back year after year.

Precheck in: good: Nisha was very helpful to arrange the room. Checkin: front desk staff needs to learn customer service and manners. It appeared that they would not care less about what they do. No smiles. No effort to go the extra steps. For example: Ben Levye of guest services had arranged for breakfast vouchers to be picked up. Front...

Overall a great stay. The lounge level is a bit pricey compared to some others but it has 3 sets of servings daily. The room was spacious for NYC but had some cosmetic things that really need to be addressed. Overall though very good and staff was quite prompt and helpful.

I loved this hotel! Had a lot of space, was very clean and service was excellent. I went during the month of December, which is usually very busy in NY and at night they would ask for room keys for extra security- it was very appreciated. Walking distance from Bryant Park, Grand Central Station and 5th avenue. Would repeat again!

Terrific location with easy access to anything in NYC. Next door to Grand Central Station. Very nice Grand Club with excellent breakfast and early evening appetizers. Lots of shops, restaurants, drug stores, etc.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
