We arrived to a large hotel and checked in, it wasn't a particularly warm welcome but it was ok. Our room was fine, 2 queen size beds with a walk in closet that was great, the lighting wasn't great in the bedroom so for putting on make up you had to use the bathroom. We were on the 31st floor...

Great location. Hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. Lacking in a few amenities like coffee in the room and had to call for a remote for the TV. Wallpaper coming loose in the bathroom. Overall stay experience was very good.

This Hotel is very well Located, walking distance from Time Square, next to the Iconic Grand Central Station. Rooms were a mix of modem faucets with old deteriorated furniture. Walls were deteriorated as well clean but for the price the quality was not there. The food and specially breakfast was expensive for the quality. I was very disappointed when I got to my room. I made them change my room for another and it was the same crap

Always a gem to stay at the Grand Hyatt. Especially if you come in by Metroliner. The hotel is connected to Grand Central Station and located close to all tourist activities. The Club rooms are spacious for Manhattan and the Grand Club provides outstanding breakfast buffets, hors d'ouvres, beverages and snacks throughout the day. Sign up for the Hyatt Gold...

The location of this hotel is great, you can walking to it from Grand Central. Everything was sort clean, a bit worn but all and all ok. The area is really hard to get to by car so pack light at $70 a day parking you can do better on bestparking.com and do a drop off of luggage and park,...

The location of this hotel is perfect given the proximity to Grand Central and all of the things to do in Manhattan; however, that is where the positives stop. The beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable and I hope you do not have the misfortune of getting a room close to the elevators like we did because you will be...

This hotel is in a great location. However, I was quite disappointed by the lack of friendliness by the staff. We were rushed through the check-in process. We were never acknowledged when we walked in the hotel. The doormen were always by the curb with the cab drivers. The icing on the cake was on the day we checked out....

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
