Imagine sitting down on your Grand Hyatt bed and you feel the foam and coils pop out of the mattress. Well, this happened here and when I lifted up the sheet, I saw the mattress had been cut open! Same thing in a different room. I don't want to know what is going with that but I can tell you...

This is the second time I have stayed in the Grand Hyatt, and the experience has been consistent in most respects. The rooms are not up to the standard of a $500 per night hotel in NYC, with features such as NO REAL DESK, a mini-fridge plopped in the entry way instead of in the misplaced credenza, and a "deluxe"...

We went there for the Thanksgiving parade. We stayed only one night. Let's start with the good things-perfect location, right next to Grand Central Station. The room was spacious and the staff was friendly. When we went upstairs to our room-the bathroom was very dirty (hair on the floor and in the shower area, brown spots around the toilet bowl,...

Staff was exceptional. Rooms were quiet and tranquil. Loved crashing after a long few days in the city. Bathroom and shower were perfect. Staff met or exceeded all expectations. Was contacted on the way from airport to let me know my room would be ready

It was a great experience and the hotel was very nice! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy. They helped us print off items for our flight as well as tickets to shows we were attending!

1. The bathroom was dirty and remained dirty even after I told the front desk 2. There were no ammenities (diamond member). When I asked, they threw some shampoo and soap in a plastic bag and left it on the console. 3. The chest was not dusted the entire stay (6 nights) 4. The mini bar did not work. A...

AWESOME location. Right next to Grand Central Station. Walkable to times square and "touristy areas." Quick train to upper east side. When you walk in the lobby of the hotel has a modern design and appears updated, unfortunately the rooms left much to be desired. The room was old and the bathroom was VERY old.

I stayed here on business in July. The rooms are fairly spacious (given the very central location) and the rooms are quiet. All as expected for a business hotel and the room service is good. Would come again.

The hotel is situated in a very good location and I believe, that's the only point they are encashing. The rooms are very small and over and the room offered was very dirty may be not cleaned for a week. I called the reception after I entered the room at 10 pm and the lady simply said you need to...

Dear Kamleish D, Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback with us. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
