Can’t begin to say enough good things about this hotel. Excellent location, great staff, quiet rooms, nice beds and pillows and rooms are a nice size. Will be our hotel whenever we return to NYC! This is a good location if you are going to the theatre district, Times Square , Central Park and Fifth Avenue.

My wife and I stayed at the Blakely New York one recent Saturday evening. We booked a king bed room for the night. Check in and Check out was swift and easy. The room was a good size, clean, and had the bonus of a kitchenette with coffee, tea, microwave, real plates and silverware, and a mini fridge that was pre-stocked but had plenty of room for anything we wanted to store in it. They do need to add some charging ports for phones and tablets, but that's a minor point for us. The two downsides of our stay were some troubles with the elevators which kept skipping the main floor to pick up guests. Maybe they were on "maid service" so they bypassed us, but even after alerting the front desk they needed an engineer to act as elevator operator to get us up to our room which wasn't ideal considering the elevators couldn't really fit more then 4 adults comfortably. The other unforeseen annoyance was that our room faced south and at 7am the trucks started to pick up the trash and dumpsters at the Hilton. So no sleeping late for us. I will happily stay there again but know which side of the building to request.

A great, small hotel for a reasonable price. It's near the park, subways and entertainment. The staff was helpful and we appreciated the continental breakfast and coffee that was included. I certainly would return for another trip.

We had a great stay at the Blakely. It's location is excellent close to Central Park, Times Square and Theater District, and Rockefeller Center. Also 3 different subway stations within 5 min walk. Rooms are very comfortable. We had a King suite that included a separate living room with pull out sofa. Bathrooms are large and include a spacious walk in shower with rain showerhead. Breakfast is included and was quite good with many choices. Breakfast room gets quite crowded and it was hard to find a seat most days. It should be clarified that this is not a luxury hotel but has the feel of a good mid-range hotel. With that said, it was perfect for our needs and we will look forward to staying here again in the future.

This hotel was recommended to us by friends who stayed there while visiting family in NYC. The hotel is well located, mns to Central Park, Broadway shows, the Metropolitan Museum, subway lines to mid-town, Hudsay Yards and the financial district. The hotel lobby has a warm, old world feeling. The rooms are standard size for NYC, comfortable and well appointed. We stayed on the 15th floor which was both quiet and had good light. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider the Blakely during our next visit.
