This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I got a yellow taxi from Newark airport. he agreed $80 dollars for the fair. we agreed but it did not include tolls, taxes or tips so in total was $140.. on return we purchased the shuttle bus service available from the hotel (you can email them about airport collection) that was only $35 for us both. I hope this helps?

Don't know about the taxi. I would imagine it is the most expensive option. Super Shuttle is in the 20 to 30 range. The E subway train is the cheapest at 2.75 and takes you to a couple blocks from the Hotel . The long Island railroad to Penn Station is 10.00 and it's a mile to the hotel. For both you ride the Air Train $5 to Jamaica Center.
