We enjoy staying here and have for several times in the last 2 years. However, we never get any recognition for our loyalty. Still put in the same dreary room. Shining light is having the amazing neighborhood right there and easy access to great restaurants. And Bistro Leo, in the hotel, is very good and has excellent servers. We love the location so we'll be back, but other NYC hotels have remembered us and rewarded us for our loyalty. Get the feeling at Sixty Soho that the staff is transient. That's too bad.

I rarely write reviews but I must admit this hotel is exceptional from all angles - location, staff, comfort, hotel lobby area etc., so I will make an exception. I came here with a view to stay for a few weeks and ended up staying for several months! And the reason for this was because it is a sanctuary in the middle of Soho. As an international graduate student finishing my studies during covid times (and split between London and New York) I ended up completing two semesters and graduating all during my time at sixty soho. I credit the staff as one reason behind graduating with a distinction from Columbia university. Why?? Because the staff are more than staff they become your family and support you and go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. The room was wonderful and the cleanliness was impeccable. Special thanks go to Kelvin, Su and Julito, who all have the best hospitality skills. I have stayed in luxury hotels across the world and their customer service goes above and beyond. Another big thanks goes to Kevin - the general manager who runs a very tight ship and offers a premium hospitality experience. I miss the hotel and staff already. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend for a romantic in-town staycation. I had high hopes for the Sixty Soho based on the reviews, photos, and location, and while I don't regret the choice, there were some disappointments. First, the positives: LOCATION is pretty much unbeatable. The best part of Soho, on a charming quiet sidestreet, an easy stroll to some of the most enjoyable shopping/dining/etc in the city. ROOM - we booked a studio king (370 sq ft) and thought it was beautiful, well-designed and comfortable, if a bit dark and loud at night (we were on a low floor with loud neighbors). We were in the ADA version of the room as that was the only one available, and the differences felt very minor (roll-in shower, lower toilet seat) and not a problem. The beds were comfy, toiletries great, climate control, TV and WiFi very good. DECOR - stylish and comfortable throughout, in all public areas incl lobbies, Bistrot Leo, etc. On the other hand, we were disappointed with the following: RESORT FEE - I realize this is disclosed upfront when booking, but they really shouldn't be charging this right now. It includes "access" to a rooftop bar that wasn't even open while we were there (but no price adjustment for that), WiFi (which really should be free in 2021), and two daily Nespresso capsules (we don't drink coffee). So $26/night for WiFi or nothing, depending how you look at it. FOOD - at present, it is not possible to have breakfast at this hotel before 11:30 AM on weekends unless you go out somewhere or order delivery from outside. There is not even a way to get a hot tea without ordering out (only coffee in the rooms and lobby). We found this to be extremely inconvenient. HOUSEKEEPING POLICY - we were told that it is still "suspended" and could not opt in even if we wanted it (we are both fully vaccinated). SERVICE - when the answer was "no", such as to questions like "can i get breakfast before 11:30" or "can we check out one hour late" - it was always a hard, quick no, with no offer of alternatives or real effort to help. In general we found the service, while efficient, to be a little cold and functional rather than welcoming. Let me just say that I am extremely sympathetic to what hotels are having to cope with during COVID, and I don't expect the same level of service or amenities at all. But some of our issues (food, houskeeping) were non-issues the week prior at a basic Hilton in the same city, and many resort fees include something valuable, such as a food/bev credit, so I would at least expect the 4-star Sixty to meet these relatively low bars. It's a shame they didn't. Hopefully things will improve once COVID finally ends. If so I'd certainly consider staying again.

Room Tip: Try for a higher floor as the Butterfly lounge on floor 2 gets very loud on weekend nights.

We planned a weekend at the 60Soho hotel for our friends 50th birthday. Upon arrival there was no valet parking or anyone to help with our bags. We to visit rooftop bar as shown in the website. Upon arrival we learned we could not access it as it was run by a different company than the hotel itself. There was never a straight answer given as to when, or why we could not use it or even see it. Had drinks and appetizers at the restaurant in front of the hotel entrance which offered 15% discount to guests of the hotel. It was not given and when we inquired the next day were told there was nothing they could do. 3 different times during our stay we smelled strong cigarette smoke even though it is a non smoking hotel. All in all it was a disappointing stay and we have no plans to return.

Excellent, boutique-y hotel in a wonderful area! The lobby is nice, pretty, and also cozy. Hotel is trendy but tasteful. :) The rooms are also pretty, but cozy as all NYC hotels are. :) Whoever selects the options for the minibar is fantastic--from food to drinks, and MANY selections! I stayed during Covid, and they are VERY safe! They have made all the entry doors on the bottom floor such that you simply waive and they open, so you don't have to touch them, but then to enter where hotel rooms are, you of course need your key for security purposes. They also have a cute French restaurant that has outdoor dining, plus a canopy over the top, which is fantastic if you've been in NYC during Covid outdoor dining and the heat and the rain! And you can grab food and drink from elsewhere and find a very nice spot in the lobby somewhere. Also, the rooftop bar/restaurant is beautiful! And for what it's worth, I left there after 4 days and moved up to a nice, highly rated GV hotel, but ended my stay there early to move back to Sixty Soho because I much preferred it! P.S. Go to Bistro Les Amis (many super delicious items--ask for Alex) two businesses up from the hotel, and Sola Pasta Bar (possibly the best gnocchi I've ever had, and def the nicest Covid-outdoor-dining scene in all of NY) a block south of there. Amazing!!
