wonderful stay but room had strong odor of cleaning products and mildew--very unusual for this property since I stay here often. I had some work to catch up on and my friend was ready for bed so glad to be able to use the comfortable quiet lobby which has tables and chairs at work height in addition to comfortable couches.

Very nice hotel near everything you'd want. Not overly expensive. Nice rooms and not too cramped by Manhattan standards. Broadway location puts it very close to subway, with theaters only one express stop away. Many restaurants on Broadway or nearby streets. Central Park is a five-minute walk from hotel.

We stayed here in celebration of our son's birthday given the close proximity to the museum of natural history. We've stayed here back in 2015 and the place does not disappoint. My family and we're welcomed by the friendly staff at the door and at the reception desk. Much like the first time; were pleased by the accommodations. The establishment...

Hotel Belleclaire's Upper West Side location is perfect--close to museums, Lincoln Center, transportation, and Zabar's. The hotel is an old charming hotel reminiscent of European hotels. The international clientele added to the cosmopolitan vibe. Staff is friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. Like many European hotels, the rooms are small but they do include a refrigerator. The downside is that the hotel is...

The hotel is a bit "far" from Midtown, but it located in a quiet street. The staff is really excellent! We had a standard room booked for 8 nights, and we've spent the first night in that one. We couldn't sleep due to the noise the ventilation was doing. We told the problem to the receptionists and they upgraded us...

We got a great deal to begin with (especially for NYC), upgraded our room size for a very modest up-charge, and were thoroughly satisfied. Also, this hotel does not have any hidden charges embedded in the small print like so many others in NYC do (facility fees, etc) which was another big plus.

Unpretetiously elegant. Loved the lobby with the huge skylight and the coffee bar seating area. Nice rooms. Bathrooms could have more shelf space. Unclear about complimentary morning coffee & pastry (voucher from front desk required.) Good location on upper west side, near restaurants, subway, walk to Central Park.

A newly discovered pearl on the Upper West Side of Manhatten.. Seems like an older apartment building converted. Convenient to subway and close to Zabara's if that is your thing. We plan on staying with Hotel Belleclaire agin.

I've stayed here for business numerous times. Rooms are clean and updated, staff is friendly and helpful, and the price is right. Their bellman Dave is terrific. Once you stay here, you will keep coming back.
