What a great experience. This is NOT a new, chain type hotel. It's a historical, boutique hotel what gives you the true NYC experience. It's older but well maintained. The offer free Wifi and tea/coffee in the afternoons along with a couple bottled waters. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The area is quiet and close to so many...

We recently stayed at the Hotel Belleclaire while in NYC on a family vacation. We just stumbled on this hotel and booked it after reading so many great reviews on Trip Advisor. We primarily chose the Belleclaire due to it's family suite and location on the Upper West Side. We wanted to give our children a taste of living in...

The hotel is 2 blocks away from the 79th street subway (3min walk max). 10min walk from Central Park and American museum of Natural History. The room was great, not a big room but knowing that in NYC you spend your days outside it's more than enough. The staff was very helpfull and kind. We booked directly on Belleclaire's website...

We only stayed for 1 night but I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised but the hotel's staff and service. When we checked out the following day, we left our luggage in the room and they put it in the storage locker for us. By the end of the day, when we came to pick up our luggage,...

A friend and I stayed for 4 nights and found it to be very nice. The room with two queen beds was a good size for New York City. The heat is radiator heat and is controlled by a dial on the radiator. A window air conditioner worked well during our stay. The 2 outlets by the nightstand were so...

My husband and I stayed recently at the Hotel Belleclaire for ten days. To repeat the title of this review: I'm conflicted about writing this as I want to go back and not have it swamped with devotees more than it is already. But fair is fair. Hotel Belleclaire is a gem for many reasons. The hotel itself: it's beautiful,...

The Hotel Belleclaire is one of our favorite places to stay in Manhattan. The location is perfect. You are close to subway, Central Park, and yet away from the loud hustle of downtown. There is a market next door for snacks and picnic items. The staff is accommodating and courteous. It is our go to place to stay in the...

Ask for a room that wasn't on the main street, that didn't happen. We checked in late so didn't even think of the noisy street until we went to bed, we felt like we were sleeping on the street the noise was unbelievable. Next day ask to change room, which we did. The room was hot, I opened the window...
