Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights in September and had a good stay.
The hotel it's self isn't exactly modern but the rooms are a good size and always found them really clean and looked after. Would definitely benefit with some tea...More
Just got back from our 5 night stay at the skyline and the holiday blues are really sinking in!
The skyline hotel is a lovely hotel a bit dated but still very nice so don't let that put you off.
It's situated about 3 blocks...More
We stayed here for four nights leading up to a tour. At first I was concerned about the location but it was great. In about 15 minutes you were in Times Square area, the theatre district is close by and there are lots of options...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I do not remember if there was a specific check out time; but we found the staff to be very helpful and flexible to meet different client needs. As per another comment, I can confirm that during our stay at the hotel, our suitcases were stored in a safe place after the official check out time, to allow us to do more sightseeing, before leaving for the airport to catch our onward United flight to Washington DC. It would be advisable to check before, perhaps by email, or most certainly to ask on arrival at the hotel, when checking in. All I can say is that we found all the hotel staff very accommodating when meeting our specific needs. Hope that this helps a little.
