Dirty, noisy, small, cold staff. As a diamond member I would expect a room a bit larger than bed and suitcase, brown flecks all over the sheets, and a constant noise coming from the bathroom. I left and went to the Hilton Mid-town where I had a wonderful staff. For each item at the Hilton East that failed, the Hilton...

Better than I expected, big room for NYC. Great location 2nd Ave & 42nd St.! Only disappointment NO ROOM SERVICE! Overall a nice four day stay. I wanted a drink, didn't like the bar in the lobby, feels like a minimart. There's a pub across the street.

Lovely large room with three windows overlooking Manhattan (very rare in NYC!). The room was lovely and clean, and we couldn't fault it at all! The bed was super comfy and had plenty of pillows. Light up wardrobe with full length mirror in, along with a safe that was easy to set up. The bathroom had a bath and shower,...

I hate this hotel so much. Everything is always broken (water doesn't drain in shower, shower is hard to use, closet doors don't close fully, etc) and the front desk staff act like you are annoying them. You can't even get a soda for breakfast. The rooms are dark, dingy, and desperately need a makeover. Sheets are rough and worn....

Every time we plan to visit NYC, I check out this hotel and always stay here when they have availability. Celebrated my birthday weekend in the city and the front desk upgraded my room to a balcony with the best view of the city

Very nice hotel and the staff was very professional and helpful. Room was very nice but a little small. Great location easy to get were I needed to go without any issues. Room and hotel was very clean. I would recommend having a full bar and restaurant so if you didn't to go out you didn't have to leave the...

Convenient location close to GrandCentral, the UN and lots of parking garages close by. Staff was friendly and the hotel itself was comfortable. Usual Hilton standards were maintained. Even though the elevator, corridors and rooms were small, there was a lot of character to thbe architecture.

Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room. Was very small considering it was well over 300.00 per night. Not too close to places of interest. No pool, no hot tub, no washer-dryer. We could not get wet/damp clothes dry in our room and we were there 3 days . Rained for 2. We had a good time...

We arrived at this hotel and given our keys straight away. We weren't offered help with our bags. Our room was on the 10th floor in a very quiet part of the hotel which absolutely suited us. We didn't have a view at all but again that was ok. Our bed wasn't Queen size as requested but it was comfortable....

This hotel didn't quite stack up to my past stays with the Hilton. The room was dark and too warm at night; when I arrived it hadn't been cleaned properly. Our stay was ok but it could have been much better.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
