The Kimberly hotel is in a great location in the mid town east section of NY. It's a suite hotel, so the rooms have a bed room and living room and kitchen area. The rooms hence are very spacious, much more than any other hotel room in NY that I have been in. The service is excellent, a light bulb...

Dear Client of Upstairs, Thank you for having visited Upstairs. We apologize profusely for this experience which is not consistent with the standards of excellence which we strive to achieve at The Kimberly and at Upstairs. We have spoken with the management team at Upstairs and they, of course, would like to ensure that the charges are removed from your...

The Kimberly has been my prefer place over my 30+ years going to the apple. This apart suite blend has endured the test of time. Location superb, away from the noise and hassles of mid town yet within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, The Park and so much more. The only 2 conditions I don't stay are when they're...

We had such a pleasant stay at the Kimberly Hotel - it was the perfect blend of comfort and location for a "girls" trip my daughter and I took to New York City. The staff was attentive and helpful, the suite comfortable and spacious, and the neighborhood was far enough from the frantic pace of downtown, yet within walking distance...

We felt like we had stayed there many many times the way that the staff treated us. From the bell staff to general manager they were terrific. I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff had worked there so long and enjoy it. The suites were clean, neat, and decorated very tasteful.I will never stay anywhere else when I...

Dear Guest, Thank you for having chosen to stay with us. Booked based on trip advisor reviews as it was a little - but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Time Square and had 'super comfy' beds. We had 5 night stay beginning Sunday 7th September 2012. First night we were in room 5G which was VERY noisy and had an awful outlook, also we had booked...

I've stayed at the Kimberly probably 130+ nights over the last 15 years and never wanted to review it to keep it for myself. I've decided that was unfair. The Kimberly is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in NYC. It is a suite hotel converted from an apartment building on E50th street. It again has been renovated...

Great Boutique Hotel, very clean, spacious, good size bathroom, robe and slippers, flat screen TV. Needed a place to stay while at a seminar near 3rd and 52ND Street, this place is great. Long time employees make this a very comfortable stay. Would stay here again, loved the neighborhood.

The Kimberly is perfectly situated for most of the main attractions in Manhattan. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were outstanding. My only issue is, I would have preferred to be on a higher floor, as the street noise made sleeping difficult.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
