Wow. The Kimberly hotel did not disappoint. My suite was beautiful and immaculate. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the amazing rooftop for breakfast and also for night time drinking. Central Park and Time Square were in walking distance. This will be my new go to hotel for when I come back to NYC.
All in all, this was a great find! The rooms were really big for NYC rooms, the service was great (really friendly staff), location was ideal. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Manhattan for a few days whether it be with family or as a couple
This was our 1st trip to New York and we stayed 5 nights at the Kimberly and could not have been happier! Our room was big, bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed and more! Fridge, microwave for our leftovers, iron, hair dryer, etc... Everything was clean and spruced up daily. The staff was very accommodating with anything we needed, which wasn't much. For the most part we walked everywhere we wanted to go and never felt like we wished we were in a different part of the city. Lots and lots to do around the hotel as well as NYC in general. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!
I had another great stay at the Kimberly Hotel. Upstairs at the Kimberly is simply magnificent. The staff at the Kimberly have treated me very nicely and with such kindness. I strongly recommend someone staying at the Kimberly Hotel.⁵
Many rooms are suites, which are perfect for families or even if you're staying with a friend or partner who keeps different hours than you do. And the fridge/microwave is perfect for leftovers-cold drinks. Breakfast on the roof is a treat, and they keep the rooftop lounge open all day with coffee and pastries (It's a bar with food at night with amazing views. Great location walking distance from Grand Central, theater district, etc, And Ess-A-Bagel around the corner on 3rd. Incredibly comfortable beds. But the staff really makes the hotel. They treat you like family. Actually, much better than most of our families treat us!
We just stayed at the Kimberly for the first time since having our son and it was perfect! We have stayed here over the years and always enjoyed our time but this was the first time we had a small child. They made everything really easy! They set up a crib for us which was ready when we arrived. They always made sure it was easy getting in and out of the hotel and cars with our stroller. The rooms are great for kids with a kitchen area to wash their bottles and store food. It really is the best location too which makes walking NYC so easy. We love it!
Very welcoming environment. Amazing staff who really go the extra mile to make your stay wonderful! Great service! Shout-Out for extra ordinary Service Harry & MD. Location was perfect! Quiet enough to be out of traffic noise but 15-20 mins walk to Broadway, Bloomingdale’s. 10 mins Grand Central Station, subway close by and perfect to get to anywhere.
A truly fantastic hotel. The staff make it so. Simply the best staff I have ever encountered. Have stayed here for 17 years. Charity event annually. Hotel is spotless. Rooms are awesome. Breakfast to die for. Nothing is too much trouble ot really is a home from home
We stayed at the Kimberly for nine nights in July. We took two suites, as we were grandparents traveling with two teens. The suites are old world elegant, but with every modern convenience, including a dishwasher and electrical outlets that are accessible. The staff is polite and helpful. From opening the heavy front door to hailing a cab, we cannot think if one complaint in the nine nights we were there .....and we are pretty demanding. Our granddaughters also said that the staff were incredibly friendly. This is a great choice of hotels...the suites are huge by any standard, the service impeccable and the location could nit be better.
The Kimberly is a more traditional style hotel. The location was perfect for our needs. The price was affordable. The decor is dated but tasteful. Housekeeping is still provided daily if you desire. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom was small in comparison to the bedroom and living room but this was not an issue for us. The balcony is a nice surprise it there were no seats and the view leaves a lot to be desired. Again, not an issue for us. We enjoyed having the space. We did not encounter a lot of noise. There were the occasional sounds from the street but not enough to bother us. The doormen were friendly and attentive. The front desk is hit or miss depending upon who was working. Some were kind and others brisk and unwelcoming. The bar/lounge was nice but closed so early that we only visited once. The prices were excessive even for New York. We did not visit the restaurant.…
