My experience at the Kimberly was nothing short of amazing thanks to my sales rep Theresa. She made navigating the big city a pleasure through her accommodations and hospitality. We will definitely be back for further trips because of her attention to detail and ease in planning. We look forward to our next trip at the Kimberly hotel.

We would love to stay at the Kimberly. However, we have been advised by the hotel that we could be woken from 6.30 am in the morning because of the noise from the construction taking place opposite the hotel. Can anyone tell me how bad this is and how much it would affect our stay.

Dear Potential Guest, Thank you for your question. There is a construction site opposite our hotel, where work starts as early as 7am on some days. However, there are times when you hear nothing at all and other times when there is some noise. The rooms on the back side of our building typically hear nothing at all, so we...

I am going over in April to the Kimberley to celebrate my 50th, I have stayed at many NYC hotels and while they've been great I have chosen to come back to the Kimberley, the reason is simple, great staff, wonderful service, perfect location and wonderful rooms. The rooms are spacious with great bathrooms and a separate dining/living area which...

As I sit here to write this review, my partner is stuck on the elevator with about 8 other people. The elevator is small to begin with and as you may have read, one elevator has been down for a while, so now there is ONLY one, even smaller, elevator. I actually had no issues with the elevators all weekend...

Dear Guest, We cannot apologize enough about the elevator incident. We do in fact have three elevators, one of which is being completely replaced with state of the art equipment and so is out of service. That leaves us with two to access our suites. We are glad to know that in spite of this incident, you were able to...

Admittedly I booked this as a result of the previous excellent reviews, but we not in the slightest disappointed. Everything was excellent from the 'tour guide' narrative from the car driver (arranged by the hotel) on arrival to the surprise upgrade to a suite. Staff were attentive without being obsequious and we were made to feel welcome and not at...

Checked in for one night and couldn't of asked for anything better. Traveling with kids is already difficult, finding a hotel in NYC with separate sleeping and living areas and a kitchenette at an affordable rate made it so much easier. From the moment we pulled up we were greeted with a friendly attitude and it continued every moment of...

Treat yourself to a Kimberly suite with a balcony...you deserve the best! Beautifully decorated two bedroom suites with kitchen, dining table and a captivating view of Manhattan...30 Rock and the Chrysler building. Upstairs at the Kimberly is a well kept NYC secret for drinks and midtown views atop the 30th floor. Bistango Italian restaurant next door serves up fine fare....

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your patronage. We are happy that you were able to enjoy our two bedroom suite which many people say feels more like their pied-a-terre in New York City than a hotel room. Do come back and see us soon. Sincerely, Mujo Perezic

This is not my first stay at The Kimberly Hotel. Perfect location, elegant suite, very good door men. What was not well done: breakfast is served on the pent house floor. 35 flights up, one elevator down all week, one out of service due to too many people at one time. I was warned by a worker not to get...

1 barely functioning elevator for 30 floors. Have to line up to get in the elevator. Hotel staff response was to ask you to stop complaining. Curt at the front desk was extremely unhelpful and impolite.

Great location close to Grand Central. Had a suite with kitchenette, living area, lots of storage space. The ladies wished for more mirrors to get ready. Excellent staff! My new go to place to stay in NYC!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. Our mattresses are covered with feather beds and decked with Frette linens, which earn comments such as "I didn't want to get up" from our guests. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
