Taking advantage of the weather that caused a lot of flights to be cancelled, they jacked up the price to $420 + all the usual stuff for one night. The window was open when I entered the room…odd…and it was very hot and humid. The air on didn’t cool, it just blew air. The toilet seat was up, pee around the rim and an unflushed pee inside. The Bluetooth remote also didn’t work. Never again…. Shame on you, Hilton!
Clean, spacious and wonderful views with balcony. Comfortable beds with fast internet. Courteous and responsive staff. I lived in the city for 10 years and this hotel will be my first choice from now on whenever I visit the city. I visited with my wife and 3 kids and every slept comfortable especially since the kids had their own area with a sofa bed. Did I mention only a few mins walk to grand central, Central Park, Times Square and the Rockefeller center. What a deal
While the rooms are not large they are modern, comfortable and come with real balconies you can sit on which make the rooms feel less claustrophobic. I generally am frustrated that hotel thermostats seem more like decor than mechanism to control the temperature, but the one in this room REALLY worked and it was easy and quick to cool the room down to what I need to sleep. Also there is a little espresso coffee pod machine and a small empty refrigerator in room . Hotel is in convenient mid town east location. There's a nice little bar restaurant also. Seems like a good reliable spot in NYC.
The bernic is the place to stay. I am a Hilton honors member who has stayed in many many Hilton’s. & My friend and I had the best experience here! But what stood out the most is how hospitable Brittany from the night shift is. Brittney had the best recommendations and the best attitude. We were only supposed to stay for one night, but after talking to Brittney we decided to stay an extra one. Beautiful views, beautiful balconies and amazing employees. Somebody get Brittney a raise!
I tried on this Hilton but 100% disappointed no Ac 2 room changes 3 people Went to the room 3 times called and went to reception no one to help! Still trying to get some sleep with my Windows open! Queen size bed lie. No water on the room even In Vegas all hotel offers water why put a nespresso machine without water, no early checking. At lest they kept our bags 1800$ 2 nights without AC NICEEE GO TO WHATEVER HOTEL A 1 star hotel will have AC! Try sleep in NY with the Windows open you will love it!
This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in the city. We had great views of the city from our balcony. The staff was very helpful with anything we had questions about and very courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the city.
I have stayed at the Bernic hotel many times and have always had a great experience. Their rooms are on the larger size compared to other NYC hotel rooms, and the service is always stellar. I always feel welcomed, and am greeted with a smile and some small talk, which is always pelasant. My room not only looked clean but smelled clean as well amd had a wonderful view of the Chrysler Building. The front desk staff was very helpful when I forgot my room key in my room, and I was able to get a late checkout. I am very appreciative of their hard work and helpful demeanor.
The front desk was beyond accommodating for us. We started our trip on a sour note with a flat tire and no spare. The front desk staff was so helpful in getting our room ready early so we could store our bags and call a tow. Additionally the same staff member remembered us throughout our stay, and made us feel welcome as we came and went. They turned our trip around for the best!!!
Our team stayed at the Bernic Hotel during our conference nearby. Andres, Sharon, Melissa, Nicole and of course Brittney and Bethany made it a very enjoyable experience. Regardless of the time of day, they were very energetic and made the big city feel more personable and warm. The rooms were clean, functional and quiet. The premise was secure and clean as well. We will definitely book this location as work trips to NY continue. I will be staying again for an upcoming personal trip. FYI, there is are two bar/restaurants immediately next door with great staff and food. See you all soon
Modest hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Rooms are small but well maintained (almost new) and very comfortable. The attentions are superb. All the team members provide customers a five star hotel experience. Great professionals like Brittney, Sharon, Karla, Kelsey and Bethany are always working to make you feel at home. I will definitely return. Juan César Nazario
