Be still my beating heart, Bernic, for you have captured my soul. It is not enough that you welcome me with a glass of Prosecco, that even your most basic room is flooded with natural light, that my cold morning starts with a warm bathroom floor under foot and ferocious water

AlanFlaneur, Wow, what an incredible review! We are beyond grateful for your return visits to the Bernic and taking the time to really draft out your experiences, and overall impression. This type of feedback is what we thrive on, and really excites our team in our day to day. Your kind words have been shared with Sharon and our team, all of who were thankful and look forward to your return. Thank you for being a valued Diamond member and selecting us as your home away from home when frequenting New York. Best regards, Selina Galan Assistant General Manger

I took my girlfriend to New York for her first time visit for her birthday, Jenny at the front desk made sure we had a great experience. They even place balloons inside the room for her birthday. I thought that was very generous. Definitely will be coming back. Can't thank you

The Bernic was not easy to find when arriving late. The hotel staff is not going to go out of their way to help you. My son is on crutches and they never once got the door or helped with our bags. It is close to the subway and bus system. It is within walking distance of

I stay in NYC every quarter for 2 or 3 nights and was thrilled with the quality of the staff at this Hilton property that is close to EVERYTHING! The lady at the front desk is fantastic and the entire team goes out of their way to make you feel very welcome. The outside

Hello Bandannahurc1, We are happy to take note of a request for a higher floor, which we will do our best to accommodate based on availability at the time of your arrival. That is likely the best way to go about getting some sort of view. With that said we unfortunately cannot guarantee any specific view since the topic of views is quite subjective from person to person, also to clarify further, we are only 21 floors while there are many corporate buildings in the area that extend into double that and even into hundreds of floors. Please feel free to reach out to us if we can be of further assistance. We will look forward to the chance to welcome you to the Bernic hotel, thank you and have a nice day!

Thank you everyone for your helpful answers! The average walking times are somewhat subjective depending on how brisk of a walk you prefer but are typically about 10-15 minutes to times square and more like 20-25 to central park without rushing - getting to central park may be more comfortable with a quick cab, Uber/Lyft or subway ride but that entirely depends how much of the city you'd like to see. You'll always spot more interesting things by the slower methods of travel such as on foot. The NYC avenues (going across town east to west) are the long blocks, while the streets(north to south) are quite quick.

Hello Georgianwindow, Yes we are happy to assist in providing a pack and play for your stay, these can be placed in any room, a suite is not required. We do suggest that anyone in need of a pack and play for their stay reach out to us prior to arrival by calling 212-754-9700 or reaching out to our reservations email. Thank you, have a great day!

Hello Hazel B, Yes all of the balconies allow you enough room to step out and enjoy the fresh air and surrounding city. The balconies are located throughout the building, both on the front and back sides. To further clarify; some are Juliette balconies and a bit shallower than standard balconies however none of the balconies have furniture on them for safety reasons. Thank you for reaching out and have a great day!
