Where do I start? The staff is great, the rooms are great, etc. This has become my goto hotel in NYC. The balconies are great, a bit unique in NYC. I have stayed at this hotel many times now, and it never disappoints! Kudos to the Bernic!

We stayed on the 20th floor to take full advantage of the balcony. The room was small, but the balcony was much larger than I had anticipated. We had a wonderful view of the street below, the top of the Chrysler building, and the East River. The bed was comfortable and the

Pekao2, We are so happy that you enjoyed your time with us. From the sound of your review it sounds as though you were in room 2001. This is the quaintest room in the hotel, but boasts one of the best hotel views! We find it is ideal for our urban explorers or those staying for one or two nights. We hope to welcome you back on your next New York City visit! Best regards, Selina Galan Assistant General Manager

I booked the penthouse suite for my birthday. I had been there a few years ago for an event and I knew it would be the perfect location and atmosphere for a low-key celebration. I could celebrate with friends and didn't have to worry about getting home that night. The room

Hello Hazel B, Yes all of the balconies allow you enough room to step out and enjoy the fresh air and surrounding city. The balconies are located throughout the building, both on the front and back sides. To further clarify; some are Juliette balconies and a bit shallower than standard balconies however none of the balconies have furniture on them for safety reasons. Thank you for reaching out and have a great day!

Actually we do not have a gym onsite. Instead we offer our guest a complimentary daily pass to the New York Health and Racket Club two blocks from us. They have a wonderful salted pool, saunas, classes and weights. Any other questions just email or call us.

"higher floor on the back of the hotel have the best views"
"Corner King is spacious (~300 sq ft v ~195 for Deluxe Queen); ask for high floor but not so high that you'll get noise from rooftop bar."
"Go for rooms on higher floors, the view of lower floors is a dump and ugly empty lots."
"Higher floor"
"Higher floor & not facing the street (which means no balcony room) if you want quiet rooms!"
