Clean, spacious and wonderful views with balcony. Comfortable beds with fast internet. Courteous and responsive staff. I lived in the city for 10 years and this hotel will be my first choice from now on whenever I visit the city. I visited with my wife and 3 kids and every slept comfortable especially since the kids had their own area with a sofa bed. Did I mention only a few mins walk to grand central, Central Park, Times Square and the Rockefeller center. What a deal

Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I visited NYC for a birthday trip and we're pleasantly surprised to find the Bernic met our expectations. The upper floor rooms have walk out balconies with a nice view. The corner rooms were spacious by NYC standards and completely up to date. We felt safe as the room was clean and hotel was tidy. Kelsey at the front desk was super helpful and kind. We would definitely stay with the Bernic again!

This place is my go to when I have to go to NY for work. It’s quaint with street parking available at night. The two neighboring restaurants are good and staff are always pleasant. Rooms have always been clean throughout the pandemic and staff was always helpful at recommending places nearby for food.

«+» Remodeled hotel. Everything looks fresh and clean. I got a free room Upgrade from a Standard Queen to a Standard King, also my room (#302) had a little balcony. The bed was comfortable. I really liked the towels in the bathroom. I believe they were pretty new, because they felt super soft. Bathroom amenities were a good quality. Fast free Wi-Fi. The hotel location is good. It is very convenient, there are a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants around the hotel. You are allowed to have visitors and the front desk staff do not give you a hard time at all to have them. «–» The hotel is designed very basic, including my room. The hotel lobby is super tiny. The elevators are pretty slow. You need a room key to use the elevators. If you want to have visitors, you always have to call the front desk and ask them to let your guest come up. My room was super small. Also it was on the 3rd floor, it was kind of dark there, not much day light. The closet was small, not enough space inside to put big luggage and hang many pieces of clothes. Super tiny bathroom with no extra spacing, also kind of a small shower stall. My room was not really soundproof I could clearly hear everything in the hallway. I believe the price I paid ($112 per night with all taxes included) is overpriced for this petite basic type of a hotel. Also I requested a late check-out at 4:30 p.m. and I was charged $50 for that. I feel like this fee is a lot too, it should have been like $30.
