Ac didn’t work properly so I had to switch rooms. Room wasn’t serviced on my first day; the front desk said that housekeeping for some reason “overlooked my room to clean.” The front desk gave me. $50 food/Bev credit since I had to leave the hotel again for housekeeping to come by after I had already timed my day around the scheduled cleaning. The $50 credit wasn’t applied to my final bill so I couldn’t do the express checkout online and while checking out, the front desk had to manually update my folio since the credit wasn’t applied. I ran late to the airport because of this. Housekeeping never cleaned my used wine glasses and on my third day, I noticed a snack bag from the minibar was cut open that I didn’t open. I couldn’t get a hold of room service after calling several times - I had to call the front desk for them to connect me to someone. Some of the doormen (Clint) were standing by the receptionist and not getting the door even when I was on my way walking out. This is supposed to be a five star hotel but it was not a five star experience.…
This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in NYC. The service is impeccable. The staff is so friendly and courteous. They really took good care of my family. I lucked out with the weather and made full use of the great patio area with my room. The food is really great here as well. I ate at the roof top deck and seriously it was way better than my experience at French Laundry and for half the price. The day of my departure I had breakfast in the atrium area and it was so tasty. The house made sausage and potatoes served along with it are so good. And a note on their covid protocol it is really good. My family and I felt totally safe. I highly recommend staying here! You will not regret it.
Had a wonderful visit this past weekend. The room was fantastic and the staff was incredible. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend this hotel. They took Covid protocols very seriously and I appreciated that.
I stayed here with my wife for Valentines Day weekend. We had a great time being tourists in our city and felt very well taken care of by the staff. Beautiful hotel and rooms, wonderful service. Highly recommend!
Great old hotel convenient to city hall, Pace, Presbyterian Hospital and Seaport Atrium and bar/restaurant are spectacular. Rooms range from average NYC size to slightly larger. Very nice staff. Room service menu limited but very good food and relatively reasonably priced.
