The staff here are all so helpful and friendly and the rooms and common areas are clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and tips on places to visit. Flavoured water was available at all times in reception and a reusable bottle was proved to each guest. We attended two concerts whilst in New York: Billy Joel at Madison Square Gardens which was literally round the corner from the hotel and Springsteen on Broadway which, again, was convenient from the hotel. We ate breakfast every morning at Best Bagel, a few yards away, who serve the most delicious bagels I’ve ever tasted. The location was perfect for not just my office but also other activities. The rooms were crisp, clean and health focused (exercise ball, yoga mat, bands and even sanitizing wipes). The beds comfy, blackout curtains dark, bathroom was fresh and toiletries smelled great. Staff was helpful and the quirky marketing messages re: wellness were great fun reminders (ie take the stairs, sleep, encouraging workouts, etc). They even had Peloton bikes in the gym. I arrived to the very lovely Jasmine, who gave me two drinks tickets or points, I was in a rush as I was meeting friends so just took the tickets. I don’t know why I did as I was out both nights meeting people ! I used one for a glass of wine and left the other with the waitress at the bar. Small room with just a half wardrobe, so if you had trousers and dresses (which I had) they were not hanging ! Desk and chair ?? Why, who comes to NY to sit at a desk. No where to put a case ? I had two cases and a hold-all ? No water in the room ? Hated the area, far too crowded and lots of homeless people ! I was on my own and did not like walking back to the hotel. One thing if I can pass on ; please get magnifying mirrors in the bathroom, both met and women need these !

Our 6 day visit to NYC for my nephew's 21st birthday turned into an unplanned 10 day visit as our flight home to Florida was cancelled. We were in town for the Eagles concert at MSG. This hotel is right down the street and only about a five minute walk to the venue. Upon our arrival, the front desk staff was very friendly and gave us great directions to a restaurant we were interested in down the street. We had a two double bed room that had a small desk area and a small fridge. There’s exercise equipment in the room and a giant yoga ball that does tend to get in the way. I would be interested to know how many guests actually use the equipment. However, being in town for a concert, we had other things on our mind. Bathroom was spacious and incredibly clean, as was the rest of the room! Ice dispenser in the hallway also had a water dispenser, which was very convenient. We received drink tickets when we checked in that could be redeemed for a free beer or glass of wine at the small bar downstairs. They have liquor as well (not available with drink tickets) but are short on mixers such as tonic and club soda. No matter since we had brought our own supplies anyway. We did not order any food as there are a ton of restaurants in the area. Overall, the Even was the perfect hotel for what we needed. Extremely clean, very friendly staff, excellent location, and well-priced for the area. We will definitely be staying here again when we’re back for our next concert!…

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to provide one for our recent stay at Even Hotel – Times Square South. We stayed from August 31 through Labor Day. My Husband, daughter, and I had a really great experience at the hotel. Even TSS is centrally located for several activities, with a quick Uber to Central Park or One World Trade Center, walking distance to Times Square, The Edge, and Madison Square Garden — as well as numerous eateries and restaurants. The room (as pictured) is a good size with a large bathroom with a barn-sliding door. (Be careful - you can't have the safe or closet drawers open at the same time the slider is open.) The bed is super comfy, the lighting is cool and convenient and the drapery has a stylish tree motif and an automated black-out shade. The room is well equipped with a yoga ball, blocks, pulleys, and workout guide that complement the in-room training sessions provided on the hotel channel. We used the hotel restaurant for breakfast, which was delicious and provided healthy options. The common room with a floor-to-ceiling view of the street was a cool hang-out spot with a ping-pong table and foosball game and flat-screen TV. The hotel was a US Open hotel and was busy, but we never had to wait long for the elevator. Finally - the staff is the reason I was led to write the review. Everyone we met was very friendly. I must say our housekeeper, Indira was particularly great and our room was always well-cleaned and refreshed during our stay. I also must mention Sheila at Guest Services who worked the evening shift while we were there. She could always be relied upon to answer our questions and provided fabulous recommendations for things to do and places to eat on the go. We had a great experience at Irish Pub Jack Doyle's and at Zen Ramen that were her recommendations. (As my daughter said, we could hug her, Zen Ramen was so yummy.) The very minor suggestion would be to keep some luggage valet stand in stock. The closet and drawer space is limited and a valet would be helpful as you keep some clothes in your suitcase during your stay. Besides that, it was a perfect stay at Even.…

This hotel was conveniently located, cute and clean with exceptional service. Penn Station was close by which made it easy for us to walk to the hotel from The train station and then take the LIRR out to Flushing Meadows for the US Open. The hotel is good about emailing and welcoming you and Jasmine Austin at the front desk was exceptional. I would most definitely stay at this location again. I knocked down a few points as this street is under construction, however other than sirens a distance away, it was quiet. The Even Hotel just beat other companies to this part of W 35th St.

July 2022 review: We are very pleased to select Even Hotel New York, Times Square South for our first come back visit to NYC after the pandemic last July. Thanks to Sheila and James who welcomed us upon our arrival day with smile and assigned beautiful room no 2206 and were great help during the whole stay. Thanks to Jazmin who booked our airport transfer and took full details to ensure accuracy. Thanks for HK team who enabled daily cleaning to our room and kept it always neat and tidy especially Betty who is very energetic and helpful. The room is modern and spacious and beautifully decorated. The room amenities are good. There is coffee/tea machine inside the room, the coffee, tea and milk quality is excellent and refilled every day. There is ice maker in certain floors. The hotel location is very unique, close to sightseeing places in Manhattan, stores, restaurants, supermarkets and most importantly Penn subway Station which allowed easy access to Statue of Liberty and American Museum of Natural History. Also the hotel is few minutes walk to Port Authority bus station which enabled us to travel to Woodbury Common Premium outlet. Overall experience was exceptional due to the unique hotel location, friendly staff, modern and clean room. The hotel is an excellent choice for those who like to stay fit during vacation. I highly recommend Even Hotel New York for travellers to NYC and certainly it will be our future preferred hotel destination in NYC. My husband and I greatly appreciated the daily support of front office team; all of them had several glimpses affected our beautiful stay. Many thanks James, Sheila, Sue, Jackie, Shayla and Vaida. Many thanks to Jennelly and Gladys our daily HK team who ensured the room always clean and tidy while keeping the coffee machine supplies available all the times. Thanks Mr Jon Zoranski for contacting me to ensure service satisfaction. Since we were in NYC during raining time so we borrowed umbrellas from the front office desk. Also, it is highly recommended to request the hotel to arrange airport transfers via black cap at flat rate USD 85 because we had bad experience with airport yellow taxi who delivered us to wrong location (Yellow taxi fare plus city tax cost USD 80). Finally Even hotel is located in a unique and prime location close to shopping areas, sightseeing, metro stations, bus station, Penn station, Moynihan train hall, cinema, Whole Foods market, cafes and restaurants, everything you need besides the NYPD is next door so the area is highly secured 24/7 so do not forget to take pictures with the police officers :-)…

My husband and I recently stayed at the Even Hotel to see Dave Chappelle. The hotel is walking distance to MSG so it worked out great, especially after a few drinks it was nice to be close to the hotel. FYI post COVID I've noticed a spike in homelessness in my city (Philly), and I definitely saw it near the hotel and time square area. Despite that I still felt safe within the vicinity and noticed there is a police station within feet of the hotel. Beside the location being convenient what makes a hotel a repeat stay is the staff. I'm happy to say that the staff at EVEN were great ! Thank you EVEN for such a great short stay and it wont be my last.
