This is the 3rd time I am staying at this hotel. Very nice and helpful staff, great location almost directly under the Brooklyn Bridge. City Bikes are parked in front of the door. This time my room had a terrace overlooking east river. Acqua is a very nice restaurant next door. It was a balmy night, we sat outside, saw... More

My son (19) and I stayed here for three nights in June. We have always stayed in Times Square in the past but everything we wanted to do this time was in lower Manhattan. Thought we would give this a try. So glad we did! Hotel was not fancy and the room was small but clean (you don't spend much... More

My family of four, including kids ages 5 and 11 stayed here for 5 nights in June. It was a great place to stay, and one reason I chose it was because it offered free breakfast. It's pretty rare to find a hotel in NYC that offered free breakfast, and(so much easier with kids to stay at a place with... More

My wife and I stayed here from July 12th to July 18th while being on a trip to New York city for a short vacation. When we checked in the Asian girl at the desk who did not speak clear English nor understood it well. She was less than helpful and refused to accept advance payment nor was she conversant... More

For me this location was perfect. It was away from the crazy hustle and bustle of time square but still had plenty of great restaurants. It was last very easy to use the subway to get uptown to the Met and I loved walking the Brooklyn Bridge. Breakfast was decent, I love the waffle stand (could probably use two). The... More

Wow way more than I had expected or hoped for! The area is fantastic great neighborhood to walk. Walk to wall street the World trade center and the water front. You can catch one of the tour buses from the front door. Rooms where clean and well appointed breakfast was fine more than we required. The staff was great and... More

For a BW Plus, I was a little bit disappointed with the quality of the room. The room we stayed in needed some remodeling...ripped wallpaper; the caulking around the tub and the wall tile was cracked as well as the base of the tub. The quality of the breakfast items not to par with other BW's we have stayed in.... More

We were here with our Grandchildren (15 and 14) to see NYC. This location was good for the many activities in the downtown area and convenient to the subway for uptown activities. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurants and activities that are around the hotel area. We will return again.

This hotel is well situated a 5 minute walk from the Brooklyn Bridge and also the water front. The area is less busy than further uptown but with easy access to everything. The rooms are clean, bright and airy (with the air conditioning on) and the staff are helpful and friendly. Tea and coffee are available 24/7 from the lobby... More
