Edging the bright lights of Broadway and the calm of Bryant Park, The Knickerbocker is a legendary New York landmark reborn as the first luxury hotel in Times Square. The Knickerbocker is a haven of refined elegance, created by John Jacob Astor in 1906 and now reimagined into a sophisticated urban sanctuary mere blocks from Fifth Avenue, MoMA, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. Conceived as the premier luxury lifestyle hotel overlooking Times Square between Broadway and Bryant Park, The Knickerbocker’s 330 guestrooms, including 27 Junior Suites and 4 Tribute Suites—the Caruso, Cohan, Martini and Parrish—offer the perfect respite from the high-octane energy of a vibrant city. Nestled within the hotel’s 16-story Beaux-Art façade, all accommodations boast a sleek and contemporary style, with customized floorplans, soaring 12-foot ceilings, 8-foot doors and 6-foot windows creating an indulgent sense of space. Bespoke furnishings, oak wood finishes, richly textured fabrics and intelligent lighting add to the sublime ambiance, while plush Stearns & Foster® Euro-top beds piled high with luxurious SFERRA® linens and Ploh® feather pillows invite blissful moments of calm and reprieve. Whether traveling for business or pleasure, guests staying in The Knickerbocker’s New York City suites will find all the comforts of home at their fingertips, from state-of-the-art technologies to exclusive dyptique bath amenities. Please be advised, our restaurant facilities have been temporarily closed, due to the recent governmental regulations to halt or drastically reduce large gatherings. Alternatively, it would be our pleasure to direct you to quality delivery services where you can enjoy some of the best cuisines New York City has to offer. Should you have additional questions regarding our current services and amenities, we encourage you to contact us. We are extending our free cancellation policy until 6/30/21. We look forward to welcoming you. Sincerely, Hotel Management

Stayed here in April 2021 so lots of things were still shut down. The front desk staff was very kind. The room had a separate seating area, incredible blackout curtains, and a bathroom room I could live in. Even the “do not disturb” sign was digital, although I did not get maid service as requested. I called the front desk for extra towels and they arrived within minutes. The location can’t be beat. The ACENQRW1237 trains are all right across the street, and restaurants and shopping were plentiful. Overall a very special, comfortable well kept hotel. Only problem was the “free” WiFi and bottled water that actually cost $40 a day. I know fees are the way the industry is going, but not all hotels charge them. So this one doesn’t have to either.

Hotel's Favorite
We had done a lot of research before our trip and feeling very verified: Room, service, comfort, location (close walk to everything!), dining, views, cleanliness, and relaxation!! Loved it while using it as our base to see theatre, restaurants, sites and museums!

I was very unimpressed with my room (which was upgraded) for the money I spent. Barely anyone was at the hotel. It didn't help that none of the amenities were available for use. restaurants, bars and gyms are allowed to be open in NY. Theres no reason why the hotel rooftop bar, restaurant, gym, and pool are all closed.

Unfortunately, there was a malfunction in the air conditioning , and we were not able to sleep comfortably. Other than that, everything excellent ex: treat employees are courteous, the place is clean and the location is great.

This hotel was fantastic! I highly recommend it. It's expensive but worth it. I love room service but it was still closed due to COVID 19. I wish it had been available to make the trip complete but I understand. So, I actually had no complaints until it was time to leave and I needed help getting transportation to the airport but the man at the desk on the night of March 22, wasn't helpful AT ALL! A friend picked me up from the airport and brought me to the hotel so I have NEVER used Uber or Taxi (everyone drives where I'm from) AND it was 3:45AM. He told me to stand outside and wait for a taxi but none were driving by. I am a female, alone, standing outside all by myself in an unfamiliar area! He could have been more helpful. I was getting very apprehensive that I might be late and miss my flight. I ended up finding and figuring out the Uber App on my own.
