Enjoyed our stay at the Knick. Pros: location, staff, room size and service. Cons: no view, limited amenities (no in room coffee maker), no lobby to grab quick items (water, snacks, coffee etc) Overall we enjoyed our stay and the rooms were very quiet and comfortable. Shower drain was clogged upon arrival which they fixed right away. Did not eat on location as there were better options close by (Paris baguette was our go to breakfast for quick and inexpensive food). Lounge/Bar was nice but expensive. Rooftop bar was very nice though got extremely busy at happy hour during the week with office/work groups. Overall a good stay near everything in midtown.
At every single corner of customer service, this hotel delivers ! At check in, Janelle was lovely explaining all aspects of our stay. We found our room large, comfortable & clean. We went to the rooftop bar & Elizabeth was an amazing server that helped us enjoy our meal & drinks after long days of college visits. I am a Diamond level at Hilton but I am likely always going to stay at the knickerbocker in NYC. People make this hotel one of a kind in a very busy city. We will be back!
I stayed 3 nights and had 2 rooms. They are spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. Service is exceptional. The location is good-right near Times Square/Broadway but not stuck in the middle of the chaos but also only a few blocks to 5th Ave shopping. When you step inside the hotel away from the crowded NY streets, you find peace and quiet!
Loved this oasis in the middle of Times Square! Could hardly believe the bustle of the city wa s outside! Great security; felt very safe. Seamless check-in. Definitely recomend for families and out of towners. Multi lingual staff are very helpful.
This property was very well located and extremely comfortable. The staff were lovely, and the rooftop terrace was pleasant for pre-dinner drinks. Our room was city view and it was nice that we could see Times Square.
Good service. Very responsive. We had one concern where the staff said a manager would call but the manager never called. Took me three attempts before a manager actually called. Wasn’t very receptive when they did call to do anything even though it was clearly something they could easily have done to make things right.
prime location close to time square , very quiet !!!, although its central location , the room was exceptionally quiet !!! , the bed was comfortable and the room is spacious . the service was excellent many thanks to Lucy in front desk to be so kind and helpful
After extensive research we decided to book a stay at the Knickerbocker hotel. We booked a corner suite. After an awful day of traveling we arrived at the hotel frustrated and ready to check in and relax. Imagine how upset we were when we were told that they had had a “glitch” in their system and our reserved corner suite was not available. We were very disappointed. They did try to make it right by offering us free breakfast and some vouchers. When I complained and told them that this was supposed to be special weekend which is why we wanted a suite they asked for a minute to see what they could do. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased when they came back and said they were going to upgrade us to the Martini Suite on the 15th floor. The room was incredible with amazing views of Time Square. The Knickerbocker and their excellent customer service made all the difference after the unfortunate “glitch” in their system. Because of their willingness to make it right for us we will definitely come back and stay here and I’ve already recommended the hotel to several friends. Do not hesitate to stay here - you won’t regret it.…
The iconic hotel is situated a few minutes walk to the greatest Broadway shows in New York next to TimeSquare. Overall a great experience and the most bang for your buck(considering the cost of transportation). Great restaurants around and close to Bryant park! I had a great time taking my family of 4 on the amazing trip that will last us a lifetime. Don’t expect too much from the hotel eateries but close restaurants and delivery made up for it!
First time in NY, here for work; but evenings/weekends are free to explore, eat, drink, be merry! The Knickerbocker is AMAZING so far; stellar service (Joyce! 😉) perfect location, friendly staff, A+++!
