Family Vacation, Bad Bad bad bad bad bad. Sad to have such a bad time wen I flight from PR with sacrifice to visit Ny and the hotel was horrible.Nerver again will stay there super bad rooms super small no view no room service no macrowave NO PARKING lobby full no front desk manners
I stayed at the hotel for three nights everything was clean and safe! The housekeeper did an excellent job! The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly! Easy check in and check out! I had a great experience there, good location. I highly recommend this place
This Hotel has fallen apart at the hands of Management. I do not blame housekeeping or any other employees other than management. I was about to step in the shower but right before I did something on the floor very sharp punctured my foot. I then went to get napkins and noticed a USED SYRINGE in the ice bucket. I am now very worried about what punctured me. I then looked around and noticed the bedding had not been cleaned and there was definitely some sex stains, pizza box with pizza In it in one of the draws, and a lot of other things Management doesn't think is important in a "Luxury Brand Hotel" during a pandemic in which the #1 thing to not catch the virus and die is SANITARY CONDITIONS along with responsible businesses caring/protecting its customers/guests. The Paul Hotel NYC has Management that can care less if they're guests get sick from COVID-19 or stepping on a used SYRINGE. It's disgusting and I will make my voice heard real loud & clear after trying to be a reasonable person and management then basically telling me they can care less. They have their guests sign a form upon arrival that if housekeeping detects any smoking in the room they will then notify management and the guest will be fined $750. That's a high fine, but I understand ACCOUNTABILITY so had no problem signing. Before I left I asked the front desk who am I holding accountable for the nightmare I just experienced that is still not over, i am waiting for the results of the blood work I got done. Management wants to hold guests accountable but not accept accountability when it's there time. It's time this joke of a management team at The Paul NYC is held accountable. I tried to be a reasonable person with them, they just don't care about the Hotel or the health of their guests.…
Paul Hotel is terrific. The staff (including "MD" from Bangalore, young woman from Tibet, and everyone - were absolutely awesome. Ideal location and beautiful view of the Empire State Building. Plus close to Korea Town and Penn Station and Grand Central Station
Originally booked a 4.5 star hotel in NYC. When I arrived, the hotel was unexpectedly shut down and boarded up. I was not notified about this AT ALL. This was quite disappointing. On the door there was a note telling guests to go to The Paul (its "sister hotel")- saying that it was of "equal quality stars"... and honestly, I beg to differ. The one thing they did that I do appreciate is give us two rooms instead of one, but that was because the original room I booked need to accommodate myself and my four teenage kids. However the rooms were poorly designed. The sliding doors to the bathrooms had wide gaps and never could fully close. This didn't allow any of us to have the privacy we needed when using the restroom. And because our bed were so close to the bathrooms, and the lights inside there were motion sensored, they would constantly turn on when we moved in our sleep. So I would constantly have to get up in the middle of the night to turn them off. Unbelievable. In addition, the bathtub drain was faulty. It never fully closed, so I couldn't take a bath the first night. This was a BIG problem because I usually book a hotel room FIRST on whether or not there is a bathtub due to the severe body pains and headaches I suffer from. I use baths to help me cope. In addition, we could get the shower to work and needed a plumber to come get that fixed. This was not my favorite $525 + $100 on parking for 2 nights I've ever spent. …
