This was our 2nd time staying in Chelsea with them & it will be our “go to” spot for all future bookings as well. Great location in the Chelsea neighborhood, you feel like a local. Easy access to the subway, great local small restaurants, walking/running to the Hudson River, & the High Line. Paul & Karen are fantastic hosts and kind people. I highly recommend staying in their quaint spot. See you next time we visit NYC!

I can’t wait to stay here again! Beautiful spacious room, spa like bathroom, kitchen had everything you could want. Outdoor garden was a real treat. We felt like we were in a home. Karen has included so many personal touches. Why would you stay anywhere else?

If you are traveling to New York you want what Karen and Paul are offering. The location places you among some of the best "neighborhood" restaurants. It's only a few blocks to major transportation hubs, art centers and city icons. Yet when you are "home" in the unit the bustle of the city seems a world away. To sit in the garden (accessed by the studio apartment where I stayed ) is a true peek at the hidden side of the city. Quiet, lush, clean, green and a great spa like shower. It was the perfect respite for my visit to the city.

My husband and I decided to go to NYC for the first time just as COVID-restrictions were starting to lift and the city was opening back up. Not knowing the area, we quickly realized how much we had lucked out by choosing to stay at A Garden in Chelsea. The apartment had everything we needed and more. The bed was huge and comfy. The kitchenette was fully stocked. The bathroom was updated with a wonderful shower, plenty of towels, and our own robes. The patio garden was the perfect location to start our mornings and end our days. The location couldn't have been better in a quiet residential neighborhood just a few blocks from cute coffee shops, great restaurants, and the subway. And the owners, Paul & Karen are warm, interesting, outgoing, and excited to share their love and knowledge of NYC. The entire weekend, we just kept talking about how much we were enjoying the city, our location, the apartment, and our hosts! I'm already planning another trip with my teenage daughter and am hoping to stay here again.

A perfect place to stay in New York City! In our first visit back to NYC in many months, we felt like we were home by returning to A Garden in Chelsea. The bed is super comfortable and it is quieter than you could ever imagine possible in one of NYC's most lively neighborhoods. It was so lovely to be able to once again enjoy morning coffee out in the peaceful backyard before venturing out for the day. Karen and Paul, the hosts, are always so welcoming and eager to share their recommendations for what to do in the neighborhood and around town. My husband and I can't wait to go back again--this remains our go-to home-away-from-home in NYC!
