My wife and I brought our daughter in for morning tea to celebrate her becoming a Radio City Rockette! Our server, Shalim, was awesome! In addition his manager, Robert, came by to chat and was incredibly nice and accommodating. The Plaza, and the entire team, knocked the cover off the ball!
A week end in Manhattan in an iconic hotel, with fine dining, spa indulgences, and all the culture and shopping the greatest city in the world has to offer. Easy access to 5th Avenue shopping, Central Park, dining options and museums.
We visited The Plaza for breakfast and enjoyed the experience for the most part. The building is beautiful, staff are very attentive. However, for the price, the food was very disappointing.I probably wouldn’t return! It’s a been there, done that kind of place. I could have had a better breakfast on Times Square for a lot less!
Perfect position, best services, don't forget to give tips anywhere :). Is NY! I'm not for the first time în this hotel, never disapointed. I stay in the room nr 1231 for 4 nights, very clean, 2 times /day cleaning. Minus: towels a bit too old, noisy, windows are not perfect sealed, but not too much to complain. A lot of fresh flowers în the loby, a nice historical building, a very prompte and professional concierge. I will come again!
I again stayed a The Plaza in June for a business trip and wasn't disappointed. Spacious rooms, flawless service, central location (if you need to be at the Upper East Side or Midtown). In particular, I'd like to single out, and praise, Hatsumi from the Concierge team, who always manages to get the restaurant tables I want. I'll definetely will be back.
I had the best tine celebrating my birthday. The staff amd the workers were all very professional amd kind in their job and speaking to you. They are all always ready to help you in any way shape or form. The hotel was always very clean and well put away.
For my sister's birthday this year I decided to take her to the Plaza for afternoon tea last Sunday. We had the pleasure of being served by Muhibul. From start to finish it was a beautiful experience. The ambiance, decor and service exemplified class, as would be expected from the Plaza. Muhibul went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Giving us recommendations for his favorite teas (an almond blend I would have never thought to try) and checking on us made us feel so welcomed. The scones, finger sandwiches and deserts were all delicious. Thank you for a great experience and a very memorable birthday celebration.
We had a wonderful stay at The Plaza, a lifetime dream for me personally. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming. Special mention goes to Narendra ‘Nick’ Nathani who looked after us in the bar but also went ‘above and beyond’ to make our stay even more special for which we are very grateful.
Great place and amazing service! Bartender Kenny at the Palm Court is amazing ! Great service and great person . The food and wine menu is excellent. Highly recommend this place if your looking for upscale.
After being seated a waiter came over with menus. We began to look at cocktail choices and were told that we should leave that and just decide on which tea selection we wanted as they stopped serving at 4pm (it was 3.30pm and we had booked weeks in advance) He brought out water and slopped it in to our glasses and on to the table - which he didn't clear away. Brought the stand with sandwiches, desserts etc on and unceremoniously dumped it on the table. The bowls of cream and jam came with no spoons for transferring them so we had to use our knives which isn't practical for a few reasons. He never asked us during this time if we would like to order the cocktails that we had expressed an interest in. In fact getting anyone's attention was nigh on impossible. The sandwiches were hard and dry - certainly not made fresh. The sweets were just that - sweet. They looked pretty but didn't taste as good. The tea was brought out in huge pots (I'm talking family sized teapots) which for one person was just ridiculous. The waiter then reached across in front of me and my plate to pour it in to my cup without a word, forcing me to lean back considerably and the tea had not had time to soak in to the water let alone brew. Basically, very poor service and a less than average tea which cost a small fortune. I would not recommend it to anyone at all.…
