Subhuman conditions, how I imagine prison cells would be like. The whole building smells like urine thanks to the disgusting pet cats that run around. The receptionist has an awful attitude. The price was increased upon my arrival. Dirty towels, disgusting bathrooms. This place is absolutely repulsive and not worth a cent of what you pay. DO NOT GO HERE.

If only i could rate this a minus 500000 to counter those who didnt rate it as 1. Perhaps they stayed in shared rooms, but i created a tripadvisor account for the sole reason of giving this place a terrible score. I have stayed in some horrible hostels and never complained, i couldnt care less as its just a bed...

I wasn't expecting much when I arrived at this hotel, (if you can call it that), but I was expecting something a bit more than this. First of all there are no lifts. Unfortunately I was on the 5th floor so it was something of a trek with a large heavy suitcase. The room was probably about 6ft wide and...

Well, I thought reviews were over exaggerated. i mean common 45 bucks for a night in downtown nyc? you get what you pay for! HOWEVER, 45 bucks is absolutely overcharging. I mean I understand the small rooms and dirty homeless shelter on 3rd and 4th floor, but after my first night, the lock in the room was changed for some...

This was possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Horrible and unfriendly customer service, room condition was beyond awful, and the wi-fi sucked. Don't book your reservation at this hotel!!! SO NOT WORTH IT.

In light of low reviews, went to this "hotel" with VERY low expectations for a small and basic hostel. Even this was too high. This hotel is providing cheap tenement housing to many families who are keeping their animals on the floor. Because of this they are leaving CAT and DOG food out in the hallways, which is undoubtedly the...

Location is pretty good, in Chinatown close to Little Italy, unless of course you don't like the fish smell of Chinatown. The staff doesn't speak much English and is not friendly. They claim to have free wireless internet, but it didn't for once for the 4 days I stayed there, though they have a public computer (with no chair so...

To everyone who thinks on going to this hotel, dont! The pics that they show on their site is not what u will expect to get. The room was very small, they controlled the ac unit and u had a big desk fan mounted on the wall. I did not even have my own bathroom, i would have to share...

This Hostel is in a great location. It is close to China Town and Little Italy and is only a short stroll to Soho. The rooms are small and the bed feels like you are sleeping on concret! It is not worth what I paid to stay there and they over charged me for the rooms! Still waiting to get...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
