WARNING - FRAUD ALERT !!! Upon check-in, they will ask for your credit card and try to charge an additional $175 WITHOUT telling you! Fortunately, my credit card declined the charge and sent me a warning by text. Otherwise, not a 4-star. More like 2 or 3. * Check-in: waited 10 minutes in the lobby behind another guest checking in. The clerk then told me that my room was on the other side of the street, so I had to wait another 10 minutes to check-in on the other side. * Very disappointing lobby on the North side * Balcony: glass rail is filthy dirty. Probably never got cleaned. * Rooms with balcony and without kitchenette are on the North tower, with very close view to other building windows. It is very loud when on the balcony, as we hear lots of air conditioning units. But once inside, it is pretty quiet, as there is absolutely no street noise. * Practical clean room with comfortable bed, but do not expect a romantic ambiance, as it looks more like an Ikea display. * No upgrade available, but late checkout at 12pm ok. * Finally, when entering the room, all lights and AC were OFF. * Mini-fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron are provided, but no slippers or bath robes. Reason for 1 star only is the sneaky way they try to charge your credit card.

Room Tip: Most quiet rooms are in the back (no view, but very quiet as no noise from the street whatsoever)

I booked this hotel thinking that it was 4 stars and had a good number of reviews. My stay here was terrible. The non smoking floor I was had smoke every where. Beds were uncomfortable and there were not housekeeping services. When I called the front desk, they said that this place just did not have house keeping. The beautiful pictures of the hotel and fireplace advertised in this listing was inaccurate and there is no fire place to be seen. Do not book this place and stay away from it. This is a fraudulent business

I stay at hotel 32|32 quite frequently and it has become one of my favorites in the city. The rooms have a modern look and are always very clean. I usually pick one that has a balcony. The staff is always very helpful and accommodating. Anytime I have arrived early, they have always let me store my bags behind the front desk while my room is ready. If you like korean food, there's a ton of great restaurants right on 32nd st. Penn station is close enough to walk. The rooms prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Contacted the hotel to resolve an issue with my booking. Great guy Mike sorted it for us. It's great to see that even though the hotel is very profitable, their moral compass is on point. Extremely flexible. Will certainly be staying in the future!

This place is disgusting. The 1st room they assigned me had so much dust I couldn’t breath. They sent me to a 2nd room that then had a dead roach and the bed was disgusting. Josh and Karen were the 2 agents I worked with. While contacting Expedia the 2nd time because Karen lied and told Expedia no manager was available, I was waiting in the lobby and Josh sent someone up to the 1st room that I had which had not been clean and the guest came down complaining. I will be contacting NYC Health Department the shouldn’t be happening during Covid. They are a major health risk.
