We loved it. Family of four, got a Ludlow Double room, and had a great visit. HUGE room by NYC standards. Superb front desk service, wonderful bar / small plate venue, top notch attention to design and detail. Definitely would visit again!
Stayed here for 5 nights with my son and daughter in October 2019. It’s wonderful ambience hits you from the moment you step inside it’s doors. The staff are friendly and attentive making this a relaxing and comfortable stay, nothing is too much trouble. We booked the Ludlow double with its 2 rooms. The beds were really comfy, my daughter and I shared the king size which was so big it felt like you had the bed to yourself! Having the second room meant my son had his own space so it was just perfect. The space itself was very stylish with a luxurious bathroom and small sitting area. Our room overlooked the street at the front of the property giving us a view of the iconic Katz’s deli! There is a rooftop which has spectacular views of the city. Inside, the lobby bar and lounge provide a variety of cosy seating areas, whilst the trellis covered garden has a lovely light and airy feel to it. The location is great I’ve only stayed in midtown before but have to say the Lower East side has so much to offer. We found the subway the easiest way to get around. I could probably go on forever about this amazing Hotel I really can’t recommend it enough. The best thing you can do is to check it out for yourself you won’t be disappointed!…
Exactly the vibe that the lower east side needed. Once you enter the doors you escape the madness and chaos of 23 year olds flirting with death as they flail wastedly through the streets. Ludlow is a VIBE, the type of place you can post up all day that doesn't feel obnoxious/try too hard, the was soho does.
We stayed at The Ludlow for 5 nights with our teenage daughter in a Ludlow Double room. The room was amazing, 2 bedrooms with a fabulous bathroom in between both rooms. The room amenities could not be faulted, it was very clean and we had everything we needed. The furnishings and decorations all fitted in with the style of the building, we were wowed from the minute we walked through the door. The beds were comfortable, pillows a bit soft but we requested firmer ones which were immediately sent to our room. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, lots of bars, restaurants for all tastes. This is our third visit to NYC in 3 years and this is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in and our favourite location. I would recommend this to all! I had read a few reviews saying there was not enough storage/cupboard/hanging space. We had no issues, all 3 of us brought far more clothes and shoes than we needed but we had room to unpack all our belongings with our cases fitting under the beds. We would definitely stay here again with no hesitation. …
Native NY'er taking a staycation down on the LES - thought the Ludlow would be the place to be, and it was super cool, great neighborhood, friendly staff, etc, but overall - just an OK experience. Room very nice and clean (and not a bad size), beautiful bathroom and shower and bath and a view to Ludlow St. out of our windows. The bed was not the best - just not that comfortable. We're in NYC - so expect things to be expensive (parking $55 for 24 hours, $20 cocktails in the bar) - but still - that has to be taken into consideration. Ate dinner @ Dirty French - was underwhelmed - service eh (tho the peeps were super nice) - very expensive (no surprise) - but the food was just OK. 4 of us spent $600 with tip - ok we drank and ate alot - but none of us would go back. Great time, excellent neighborhood - a lot of fun - but I'd try a different hotel next time. T'Man '20…
