I loved my studio room. It was small but had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, the ambiance was old New York and the bathtub was deep and cozy. I slept well. While the room was near the elevators I never heard a thing, not even the cleaning personnel in the mornings. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone from the servers in the lounge, to the front desk employees to the room service server. An important perk when you travel alone. The front desk even helped my put on my necklace when my nails got in the way. I felt at home. I had room service every morning. It was fast, good and reasonably priced for New York city. The back lounge was only for hotel guests and a wonderful repose before or after a long day in the city. I will return for all my NY stays.
Balthazar Restaurant is a perfect reminder of a French restaurant from years ago. The service is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the ambience cannot be improved upon. Every time we make a trip to Manhattan we always visit this restaurant.
We stayed another 5 nights at our go to hotel in the LES. The entire Ludlow staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We would especially like to call out and thank Karen at the front desk for taking care of us and managing to get us the right room every night of our stay despite the hotel being fully booked. We cannot wait to come back again next week for another amazing getaway at the Ludlow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Me and my now wife stayed at the Ludlow Hotel in June as we were getting married in Central Park. We chose the Skybox Loft and we were certainly not disappointed. The room was amazing with stunning views of Lower Manhattan, the bathroom was out of this world. I can not think of any hotel in the world with a view from the bath tub like this. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff made our wedding day so special giving us numerous bottles of champagne during our stay. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the 2nd Ave Subway with a CVS round the corner plus you are on the same street as Katz. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be returning next year.
This was a really great hotel experience all around. Staff was professional and friendly from check in to wait staff to room attendants. Ou room was exactly as described. We had lunch on the back atrium, food was delicious. We also had drinks at their bar/restaurant Dirty French which was great too. It was my birthday the day we checked in and a bottle of wine was sent to our room to wish me a hbd. Nice, thoughtful touch. I would stay here every weekend if I could!
I have stayed at the Ludlow a few times now and it never disappoints me:). The staff is so welcoming and accommodating, rooms are lovely and we explored the roof top this time and it is Incredible! Great hotel, great location and great service.
A true beauty. Helpful and easy going staff. Treat yourself to a Skybox Suite. Fantastic area close to interesting restaurants and activities. Feels like you are actually living in NYC and not just visiting. Amazing lobby to drink coffee or a cocktail and snacks later in the night.
We stayed in a Queen Loft room in May / June for 1 week. The room was beautiful and full of natural light which isn't common in hotels, it had a amazing view over to Brooklyn. We were on floor 19 so it was also relatively quite for central NYC. The room had everything we needed, my only comment would be the storage space was a little light for 2 people for a week, but it wasn't a problem and we made it work. Shower and bath were incredible, fabulous light filled bathroom. The public spaces were a highlight. We'd often grad a bagel for breakfast and eat it in the courtyard with a coffee from the restaurant. It was also a great space to end the night with drinks with friends before going to bed. The gym was also fantastic, on the small side, but very well equipped with amazing 180 views. There was always enough space, even if you had to go out on the roof terrance with a mat and weights. Service was always fantastic and friendly. The location is great, in the heart of the LES, a short walk to Katz so you can get in early and avoid the lines. There are SO many great restaurants and street food places in the immediate area we were really spoiled for choice. It's super vibrant in the evenings too which is fun. I would 100% return and recommend this hotel to anyone.…
I’ve stayed at The Ludlow a few times and it’s consistently a great place when in NYC. Fantastic location and the teams there are exceptional. I love the views and room design and always have great cocktails in the lobby. No complaints other than having to leave. Can’t wait to return soon!
We had a great stay at The Ludlow! The property is beautiful and stylish. The staff was welcoming and incredibly helpful. And the location was perfect. It was my first trip to NYC and didn't want to leave the neighborhood, filled with great shops, restaurants, bars, and bakeries. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC! Can't wait to come back!
