First of all we arrived to be told we had been upgraded from a basic room to the penthouse! 6 nights in luxury! Thank you The William! It can't get your vacation off to a much better start than that! We were there 8 nights in total but had to change rooms for the last 2 nights as a wedding... More

I stayed at this one during a short business trip. The location is very convenient. The rooms are spacious with contemporary design. You have all you need in a nice configuration. If you are at PH level you also get a roomy balcony. It is a bit pricey though. It is suitable for extended stays as the rooms are small... More

What an awesome hotel, and talk about good vibes! Something about the energy there attracts positivity all around you. There seems to be something for everyone whether you want to dine in or go to the dive bar below. If you're in the mood to go out on the town the attendants will give you some suggestions and even catch... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. From the moment the door man greets you, you feel at home. Each room is a suite, individually decorated complete with a Nespresso machine. The L'occitane goodies in the bathroom along with the robes and slippers in the bathroom are an extra treat. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too... More

Stayed here at the beginning of the month as the first leg of our honeymoon and what a gorgeous place it is! Perfect location with only a 5-10 minute walk to Times Square, good sized room with a great coffee machine to help you kick start the long days in NYC! All of the staff that we came across during... We stayed at The William on the recommendation of Virgin holidays, as we wanted somewhere central to all the action. Wow - they didn't get it wrong! Within 10mins walk of all the major sights, about a 20min walk to Central Park. Check in was fine, although we arrived later than they planned due to traffic in NYC. Big shout... More

Very unusual hotel but lovely inside with secrets around every corner it seemed. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and helpful. The Shakespeare restaurant I would highly recommend as the food as gorgeous. Raines Law Room tops this hotel off, the cocktails are the best I've ever had and the atmosphere is so relaxed.

First of all, the location is fantastic: less than 5 minutes walk to Grand Central Station, about 10 minutes walk to Times Square - it's a great base to explore the city by foot/subway. Secondly, the design is wonderful: clean, sophisticated and very comfortable. The bed is super comfortable, the Nespresso machine is a nice touch and the L'occitane bath... More

Love the William but it is a bit wacky the place is owned by 2 diffent companies the hotel and the public bars are separate. So you get great rooms but he rest of the hotel is a separate business. Once you get your head around that you only get your room and no guest space lounges etc it's a... More

Loved everything about this hotel. The location is spot on, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. It's a really cool boutique hotel, we are visiting a few places in USA this is by far the best hotel so far. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for having us.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
