This hotel is in a great and convenient location in NY. Far enough away from the noise of Times Square and close to several metro stations so that you can get anywhere you want! It's very spacious for NY and even has the added benefit of kitchen facilities. Our only slight annoyance was the heating which didn't seem to cope so well with the cold temperatures in NY and woke us up at 6am everyone morning!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in the beautifully appointed William Hotel. Staff is friendly and the location is excellent. We especially enjoyed our junior suite - it was so nice having extra space in the room complete with a mini kitchen.

My friend and I have just returned having spent ten wonderful days in the most fabulous of cities. During our trip, we stayed at The William and we could not have had a more perfect hotel. Location - The hotel Is perfectly tucked away just off of Madison Avenue. It was a lovely and quiet location but only a few minutes walk away from the hustle of bustle of Time Square and Fith Avenue. Interior & rooms - BEAUTIFUL! I can’t say anymore other than the hotel was decorated beautifully with plush interiors and super comfy beds! There was even a Nespresso coffee maker in the room which was a huge tick in the box for someone who loves a morning coffee. Staff - The staff were fabulous. They were attentive, polite and couldn’t do enough to help. A special thanks must go to Rafael who was extremely helpful during an unfortunate situation where housekeeping mistakenly discarded a bag of gifts I had brought thinking it was rubbish. Despite being initially very upset by this, the hotel were amazing and refunded a nights stay to compensate for the lost gifts. The Shakespeare Pub - An absolute gem! My only negative point is that we didn’t discover it sooner! Austin & Lance were absolute hero’s who made us feel so welcomed. When I initially booked this trip through Virgin, we were booked to stay at a different hotel which unfortunately has subsequently closed due to covid. I am so glad that we got given The William instead as their hospitality really did make our holiday even more special. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay - I’m already looking at returning later in 2022.

Loved the great room with kitchenette and dining table, large by any standards, overlooked 39th St., light and airy. Amenities lacking. No bathrobes. Too complicated coffee maker. HVAC system whined so loudly we couldn't sleep with it on. Dark, dark, dark lobby and public spaces. Must climb stairs to get into the hotel, not great if you have heavy suitcases...and especially if the doorman isn't at his post.

We attended an event downstairs in the Raines Law Room during our stay. When we tried to go back upstairs to our room to grab something, staff questioned our reservation at the hotel. After assuring them we did in fact have a reservation, they told us, "no you don't." It wasn't until we showed our key card that their attitude dropped, and they finally let us into the elevator. It did not seem like the appropriate way to handle things, and they never seemed apologetic.
