The suites are roomy and comfortable with full size frig, oven and range. The staff is very helpful; the only problem was elevator service. One of two was down for the four days and was very inconvenient. The hotel is in the middle of the theater district and surrounded by great restaurants. We would certainly return.

The two bedroom apartment we rented was perfect and in a great location: quiet, convenient, private; a respite from the busy hustle and bustle of Times Square. Close to Broadway, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, walking distance from Central Park and fine restaurants, I wouldn't bother to stay anywhere else when I go to NYC.

We love staying at the A.K.A. Hotel at Times Square. Close to shows and grocery stores. Nice that you can stock the full size fridge and make all your meals. We have stayed at other places but this is much better because of the location and the fact you can make food and save the large food bill you get... More

My wife and I decided to spend a few days in the city last week as a tourist even though we come into the city for work or for events from time to time but never as a tourist. The hotel is so convenient to everything. The front desk staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The room are... More

I moved here with my family as I was renovating and the whole staff couldn't have been more nice. They really made us feel at home. The suites, yes all suites, are very nice, the ones facing away from the street are pretty quiet, which is rare for New York and for the area, although a bit dark at day... More

The AKA staff were very welcoming and resourceful. It was great being so close to Times Square and the theatres, yet it was very quiet. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, especially the beds. All the staff were excellent but one staff member stood out for me and that was Erika - she was a wonderful face for the... We took a 2 double room for a family of 5. Feel like a small apartment with 2 sleeping room full kitchen saloon with a sofa and 1 toilet. The room include washer dryer dish . Service is very good. Excellent location 1 minute from time square . Very good value for money .

Spent a week here in a 2 bed apt. Very good location and even though it's a 60 second walk to Times Square the hotel is quiet. Only real criticism was the lift. One was out of service and the other was a nightmare with the amount of guests and utilities work. The staff on the other hand were friendly,... More

AKA Times Square was like a home away from home. We booked a one bedroom apartment and were lucky to be upgraded to a two bedroom which was fantastic. We used the second bedroom as a dressing room which left our room free of bags etc. The lounge and dining space was huge and the kitchen well appointed. We used... More

Our family of four enjoyed a six night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 7th floor. The apartment was at the rear of the building so we did not have views however it was very quiet. From the time we arrived, throughout our stay and at departure all of the staff we dealt with were fantastic. They were... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
