As a weekly traveler for business, I am very picky about hotels and this one is now one of my favorites! This unique building that is relatively new construction with and old world feel inside is both beautiful and intriguing. In the heart of a wonderful neighborhood, the rooms are peaceful even with the floor to ceiling windows that reveal the beauty of NYC - if you can get an eastern facing view, the sunrise is worth getting up for! The service is perfect - just enough to make you feel cared for, but not overbearing. The restaurant and special events venues are stunning and the food delicious. I would be remiss not to mention the FABULOUS shower.. in many NYC hotels, water pressure and temperature are less than desirable... not here... I looked forward to every shower! As someone who spends almost 100 nights a year in hotels... this one is a gem!

We are travelling again so I though I'd catch up on my reviews. We stayed at the Bowery Pre COVID to visit my daughter who goes to NYU, sometime in the fall 2019. This was a great experience. For the past few years we had been staying at a nearby "cool" hotel. With each visit the quality of the room and the level of service sunk to new lows. Because of that I decided to try out a new place and picked the BOWERY. Wish I had done this years back and stayed here instead of the other hotel over the years. Before arrival the hotel called and asked if we had any requests and if there was anything they could do for us during our stay. That was a nice touch. When e arrived the front desk was very welcoming. They even upgraded our room which was nice, especially after our recent experience at the nearby hotel. The room was great large with lots of character. Our room faced Cooper Square. You know your in a good hotel when noise from the street of the hallways is non existent. This was the case at the Bowery, The service was great, the lounge area old school, dark but fit with the ambiance. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. In fact we were so impressed with the Bowery we reserved a terraced suite and another room for our daughters graduation in May 2020. We were looking forward to celebrating this big event at the Bowery with friends an family, but COVID squashed all of that. If and when we return to the East Village we will stay at the Bowery. Great Place!

I love staying here, even though I live in NY. Cozying up in one of the rooms, down at the bar finding the perfect martini or ordering room service. It's always a pleasure, the staff is always friendly and the food and drinks always on point! Especially during COVID it has been a life saver to be able to get away and out of my own 4 walls and enjoy the luxury of good service and friendly faces. Cannot wait for next time.

it is like a 3- star hotel, but more expensive than a 5-star hotel. Not worthy it at all. OMG, I can't believe that I lived in the worst hotel ever. I was super disappointed with their rooms and services.

I really do want to try other NYC hotels, but I come back to the Bowery every time because I know that the service will be impeccable, and that my room will be unique and charming. Room service from Gemma is a cherry on top.
