Spacious, well-appointed and vigorously cleaned rooms - especially for New York. The service was also excellent. We don’t expect perfection, but when we do have an issue with the room, we like to know it will be addressed, and The Conrad delivered in the most impressive way. When we checked in, there was a small issue with the room - either someone had smoked in it or in a neighboring room. We notified the front desk to ask them to note the file so that we wouldn’t be the ones charged for the clean up but said we didn’t need any further action. The Conrad, however, immediately addressed the issue (and were very apologetic) and even sent up some fruit and bottled water. They were 100% professional in the old school kind of way that we haven’t seem much lately in the service industry. Was really refreshing. Will definitely stay here again.…
Spent 3 nights in a city-view king suite and can't say enough GREAT things about this hotel. I was treated with impeccable service and felt secure as a solo visitor to the area. Evening turn down service was an elegant touch with chocolates and bottles of water provided bedside. The suites were spacious, clean and roomy. Onsite restaurant, Dabble provided a delicious breakfast buffet on the weekends with spot on service from the wait staff. It's definitely a 5-star property and will not hesitate to return next time I visit NYC.
Spacious accommodations. Separate living room with wide screen television. Another television in the bedroom. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Small yet adequate bathroom, single sink, toilet is not separated by a door. Plush robes. Slippers. Conveniently located within walking distance from Times Square, Theatre’s, Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, Central Park, Shopping ,etc. Surprisingly Quiet given location. Lots of delicious dining options at various price points nearby. While the turn down service with water and chocolates bedside was a nice touch, we only received it on 1 of our 4 nights. Elevators do not require key card access for added security. There is security personnel standing near but they are not always there. Valet service inconsistent. Limited In Room Dining options.…
We spent one night there for our anniversary. The staff is very helpful. They sent us a plate of chocolate and strawberries to help us celebrate! The room was spacious by NYC standards and the bathroom robe and slippers were a nice touch.
The two queen suite room was clean and large, contained great amenities, close to Broadway theaters and Central Park, tons of great dining options nearby, and the beds were comfortable. Recommendations are to replace the plastic water bottles with paper water containers and include black tea in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
Our second stay here and we were delighted. The room was great and the bed, towels and all amenities were great. The staff was very helpful and friendly and Angel was very responsive and was able to confirm a very nice room for us prior to arrival. Will definitely stay here again when we return
We had an excellent stay for 5 nights at this hotel. We are a family of 4, and were joined by one other child on this trip. The hotel rooms are spacious, welcoming and recently renovated enough that it still feels new! The staff are the biggest asset: helpful, friendly and each of them does their job at the highest of levels!! The hotel is very well situated: close to Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue, and has great access to the subway. The fitness centre is very well equipped. The Buffett is a bit pricey considering what is served, but there are a number of great restaurants and delis nearby. All in all a wonderful experience! Thank you Conrad Midtown!
We stayed with my family for 4 nights but I wished we could've stayed longer. I absoluetly loved the hotel, the location is incredible just a few blocks from central park, broadway, times square and it has several metro stations near by. The room we had made justice to the 5 stars hotel and the pictures. It was spacious, clean, had amazing views and the servicie was 10/10. We totally felt at home. Only thing I would change is having more closet space in the room, as it was a small closet for 4 people. But is a small detail compared to the excelent service and gorgeous room. Comparing prices to other similar hotels in the area this one has a great quality-price relation Would totally recommend and would totally stay again.
We had a horrible stay involving bed bugs infestation and unprofessional staff-- would recommend others to stay away! This was easily the worst hotel stay we've had; for context, my husband and I travel a fair bit personally and professionally, and I am a current (and soon to be former) Hilton Diamond member. We were here earlier in the summer for a weekend, and ended our stay after discovering bed bugs in the bed (see pictures). This was confirmed by Conrad NY Midtown staff who came into the room and inspected the bed bugs that we had found. We decided to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodations than to get another room on the hotel floor. This did not make for the best weekend trip (we were traveling for a wedding), but nothing like the unprofessionalism of the staff during the subsequent followup. After some initial email outreach on restitution and us sharing requested details (receipts that they needed), the hotel staff started to ghost us. Since then for 2+ months we have been passed among the front desk, hotel manager, and security team staff across various followup emails and phone calls. Invariably the alleged staff who should be addressing this are not available, on vacation, etc.-- leading to dropped followup and many false promises. If you want to bring bed bugs home and spend your personal money to replace your stuff-- book ASAP! If not, you can find MANY comparable luxury hotels right in Midtown (e.g., Peninsula, Plaza, Ritz Carlton, Park Hyatt, St. Regis, Thompson Central Park)-- take a look at those first!…
This was my third time staying at the Conrad NY Midtown and again it did not disappoint. I’ve come back to stay during every trip back and I refuse to stay anywhere else. The rooms at the Conrad are spacious and comfortable. They look and feel clean which I always love. There’s a fitness center at the hotel and a restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious here. If you’d prefer other options there’s plenty of choices within a 5 minute walk in any direction. Times Square is a short walk away as well. If you’re looking for a nice couples stay or a bigger room for friends, this is the place to go!
