I stayed here on a trip to visit friends. It was a very convenient location in TriBeCa, near SoHo. Service was very professional as well. I would highly recommend this place to future visitors and wouldn't hesitate to go there again. Other tips: - The lounge was a pretty small, quiet area, so even though we were given two free... Nice, relaxed and chic lobby but super small. Beyond small, uncomfortably tiny where, if you didn't talk to the other people in the lounge, you would have felt super awkward. The location was exactly what I needed but, being on the third floor, I could hear the subway all night. Rooms are tiny but clean and modern.

This hotel is small, cozy, & very chic. The rooms are designed in a very hip, modern way, with comfortable beds. I stayed two nights & had to switch rooms so I actually tried both the king superior and queen superior rooms. I preferred the queen room (406) because it was more spacious than the king (203). Both rooms looked... More

Hey if you can get over all the strollers and scooters in this part of NYC, it's a cool area. I first found out about Duane Street Hotel from a JetSetter promo, so gave it a shot and was really impressed. Recently stayed here for a business trip and my stay was nothing short of amazing. The service at the hotel is top notch, specifically Matthew B at the front desk. He was always extremely helpful with anything I may have needed. Will definitely come back.

This is my 2nd time staying here - the first time was for business and this time was just slightly for business, more for a mini-vacation. Check in is quick and easy and the front desk staff are genuinely nice and helpful but down to earth as well. The little lobby bar is awesome (only open until 11:30 I think),... More

This hotel was simply wonderful. The staff and room alone made the atmosphere one you did not want to leave. Modern and calming tone in a jam-packed environment. This hotel is a must-visit for couples

I stayed in family member's room for a few days as a guest. We thought the staff is trying very hard and mostly succeeds, but the staff are not really equipped to deal with anything out of the ordinary (problems, requests). I think we had some isolated issues and so I won't go into details - if you don't have... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
