Great location in midtown. Close to the theater district and times square. Modern and clean hotel. Rooms are a bit small but typical of large metro cities. Lots of activity on a Friday night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good food options.

We arrived on the morning of July 4th and though it was reasonably quiet at check in, the clerk did a horrible job of customer service and paid no attention to our check in details (breakfast was included but no details given). Up in getting to our room, it had no Fridge. When we went back down to reception, we...

A pleasant stay...no tea/coffee facilities and no complimentary water. Restaurant downstairs, pricey. Décor good and rooms clean. Great location, handy for Central Park, 5th Avenue, bus tours and all the places of interest. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location at 53rd and 6th. Otherwise, pretty mediocre. Premium for Executive Lounge access a waste of money as line for same was dozens of people in length. Breakfast buffet (alternative) good but ridiculously pricey - cost more than our supper the previous night at Barbetta! "Executive" room tiny but well-appointed - barely room for the bed.

Close to everything and yet far enough away from the craziness of Times Square in the summer! Conveniently located near subway stations, Central Park, 5th Ave and Times Square. Rooms are roomy. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Have stayed in other hotels in the Times Square area over the years, and this is by far the new favorite!!! We'll be...

We were pleased with this place except for price, ( but this is NYC). It was magnificent and the staff was great. All amenities were first class and location was perfect for us to meet our friends that live there. We stayed on the 41st floor which we were told was renovated. It was beautiful and clean and we had a gorgeous view of the city looking towards Central Park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location in the city was great-within walking distance of everything we were there for. I would definitely stay here again!

Arrived at new York’s LGA airport took Super Shuttle to hotel. Cost was $18.00 per person. The hotel is on a corner block(Avenue of Americas but really 6th street and 54th.) Check in went smooth. Desk clerk seemed a little reserved but once we started chatting about the hotel, he opened up and even smiled. All hotel staff we encountered...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
