When I checked in a Suite , I was given Room 2635, which was Jr Suite and not a suite for which you pay 800$ a night, besides that next to your bed elevator runs up and down. After I complained Susan the manager changed my room- and I showed her the AC ducting was open in new room 4255, she said she will send someone - which she never did The bathroom had conditioner but no shampoo nor small towels, I would never stay here again - terrible hotel with more terrible attitude and service , paying so much New York Hotel managers need to learn customer service and teach something their staff
Great location, lovely hotel, great sized rooms (skyline) breakfast was good plenty of choice it did get a little busy over the weekend we stayed a week and thought the hotel didn't seem as busy through the week. Eating establishments shopping and Central Park all really close and the subway station is more or less on the door step. All in all we had a fabulous week and would highly recommend the Hilton Midtown.
The facility is very clean and the staff very friendly. Location is fantastic in Midtown. Enjoyed our stay there and definitely would go back. The lobby bar has excellent pizzas and appetizers. The rooms were very comfortable and very functional. This facility is well-kept and well-maintained.
Great hotel with truly excellent service. Our room had fantastic views of Central park. On check in we received an upgrade and were allowed to check in despite arriving at 9am. Breakfast was great as well. The best hotel I have stayed at in NYC
We had a fantastic stay at Hilton Midtown. Jason from the front desk team was AMAZING!! He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special and was attentive when we brought a couple things to his attention about our room’s condition. We had a nice view of Central Park and we found this side of the hotel to be quiet for city standards. We enjoyed the buffet every morning at Herb-n-Kitchen (great play on words…urban kitchen). Robert (I believe he is the restaurant manager) does a phenomenal job taking care of guests at the front of the house. Jorge was so personable while he cooked up delicious omelettes and waffles. He also cooked eggs over medium for my husband and added some sliced tomatoes which were perfectly ripe and delicious. Lastly, Maria F. was very responsive and kind when I reached out to her prior to our stay to arrange a special celebration for my husband’s recent retirement. I’m a Diamond member and this is the best treatment we’ve had at a Hilton hotel in the US. We’ll be back!…
I was a little worried about staying here after reading so many negative reviews but I have to say that it was a great stay. We were in an executive suite. I had emailed a few days in advance as it was my daughter’s special birthday as well as mine. They were so kind in leaving a few goodies in the room to celebrate. The room was clean and spacious. If I have to be critical it would be the bathroom being ever so slightly small compared to the suite itself but it really wasn’t an issue. Housekeeping were great and all the staff in general were very nice. It’s a big hotel in a great location. We were there for 4 nights over a weekend. Lots of people but it didn’t seem crowded. We never had to wait long for a lift or wait in any queues. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was really good. We would definitely go again!…
Yannek, Shalya, Jacqueline were fantastic and very helpful staff. Hotel is clean, modern and very comfortable. Good location for walking around the City. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff added to a fun visit to NYC.
The room, location, most of the staff - all good. But the fact that the hotel feel obliged to take $35 each night per room and then say you have to spend it on food in the hotel would be fine if it was affordable. Perhaps they are only geared up for business or rich people but the fact that as a 4 we accrued $140 and could not even afford a breakfast was sad.. As it was the queue was large and the waiter unfriendly, we ended up buying at the Herb Kitchen ie take away. Whilst eating in the available area - the bin man arrived and right next to our table proceeded to empty all the bins. Not what I would have expected from a high end hotel.
Great hotel with grand yet welcoming reception area. Very friendly staff - from door men, reception staff and room cleaners. Wonderful location within walking distance of many attractions (MOMA, Times Square, Central Park). Excellent room sizes and quiet rooms do slept very well!
We spent several days in a Hilton Club studio room which was small but well designed, pleasant and comfortable. Great central location with easy access to uptown and downtown. Best of all, the Halal Guys food truck is right across 6th Ave.
