Stayed here a few times - always clean, comfortable and friendly. Shared bath and toilet present no problem. Very central and very quiet. Lots of places to eat nearby. The staff are always courteous, welcoming and friendly.

We arrived in late afternoon and quickly checked in. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean but a bit cool. When we left for dinner we commented to the desk person that the room was cool. Upon our return from dinner there was a small but efficient heater warming the room and extra blankets. Our stay...

The hotel is very well located just one street form Union Square Park, the surroundings are great!! There are a lot of little restaurants, super markets and even bars couple of hundred meters from there and the metro station is also just one block away. The locations it completely perfect. The hotel is very good, the bedroom feel a bit...

Super clean. Maid service Monday, Wednesday, Friday, the private rooms have flatscreen TV's and toiletries were in the medicine chest but the soap is really small. We brought are own soap and shampoo. Free coffee all day. Great location and they wash the bedspreads in between guest. Cleaner than most places that charge triple the nightly rate. A tremendous bargain...

This hotel have a history and a mission. I have come here in my going back and forth from Italy to US, since 1992. I met some of my best friends, here. It is a joyful surrounding, where I have never felt myself alone. "Rest and be thankful.” William Wordsworth

My visit to Seafarers was excellent. The staff was 24/7 for me and always offers me coffee and a big smile. The wi-fi is surprisingly fast and the rooms were quiet and clean. I love this hotel!!! thanks Seafarers for a pleasant stay.

My son and I stayed for over a week at this fantastic hotel. It was clean, neat and comfortable with lovely friendly staff. The location is very convenient being two stops away from Herald Square and most of the main attractions in Manhattan. The price was very reasonable considering we stayed during November/ December and the rooms were quite spacious....

Great subway access from the convenient Union Square location. Rooms are spartan, baths are shared, but all are clean, safe, and well-kept. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Fellow guests are very interesting too -- Seafarers really do stay here. A great experience, and a bargain. It would be nice if wi-fi were available in the rooms instead of only...

If you do not mind to have basic comfort, and share the bathroom with others, this is a good option for you. You will not find a better deal. One block away from Union Square and subway. Clean bed for a reasonable price.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Everything else is very basic. The staff is extremely unfriendly, borderline rude. The lobby area is nice, the rooms are small and not cleaned regularly. You will find trash and used towels left by previous guests.
