Guy at reception did not greet us, smile or be in anyway welcoming. Obviously doesn't like his job. Room was tiny. Noisy plumbing and air conditioning. Bed was made with a bottom sheet too small. It could not be tucked in on the bottom and top of bed at the same time. We arrived from Europe so it was 3am body time and we wanted to go to bed. I asked for an extra pillow, but the guy could not make the effort to have another one sent up in less than a half hour. On second day, room was cleaned at 4pm despite our asking at 12pm to have it made up. Cleaning staff (who didn't speak a word of English) did not replace the used coffee cups or clean the room properly. No breakfast restaurant. Depressing, poorly maintained hotel.

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is a bit dated and rundown but in a great location with lots of food options and shopping nearby. I arrived early and my room was ready so they were able to check me in right away. Pros: Great location, right across from Radio City Music Hall and steps from Times Square. Lots of food options near by. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: Property is a bit dated and run down. They clean the best they can but you can expect lots of stains on the lobby furniture and hotel room floors which will make you second guess the cleanliness overall. I stayed for two nights. On the first night the toilet in my room stopped working in the middle of the night. They were unable to fix it and there were no other rooms available until later the next day so I had to use the bathroom on the 6th floor by the gym (my room was in the 20th floor). The Room also had a weird musty smell and the wifi reception was non-existent. On my second night I was moved to a different room with a working toilet. The room was smaller and the view was not as great but it did have working wifi.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. We are delighted to hear that you were pleased with the friendly and helpful staff and the great location. On the other hand, we are saddened to know that your experience was anything less than satisfying due to the condition of the furniture, room floors and bathroom as well as the concern you had with the Wi-Fi at that time. As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience, we are sorry that we failed to meet your expectations. We hope that you will reconsider and give us another chance to provide you an experience that is truly excellent in all aspects.

Pros? Excellent location. And the guy who took our bags, hailed a taxi, and helped with places to go - he deserves a raise, bonus, and a management position. But where is the 7th floor veranda and restaurant that was one of the MAIN reasons why I booked this place? Closed apparently because of Covid (whatever that means...) but is there any mention of it on their website? Nada... Also - The lobby is a joke - the furniture is dated and fabric stained with ????..... didn't even want to sit down. The carpets are very old and dirty in room - no maid service (of course, because of Covid!). The sliding door to the bathroom that was supposed to be fixed before we got to the room was still broken. And the gym is more of a storage area rather than a fitness center. Machines broken, dumbbells missing, storage stuff in corner and garbage overflowing. And of course, no towels or water (because of Covid). So - in general, restaurants are open, people do wash clothes, and gyms have operational service with towels and water. So what's with the Covid excuses???? And why aren't all the hotels and other service-based organizations giving DISCOUNTS to their offerings based on the (substantial) reduction in services and related amenities, instead of RAISING their prices???? Would not come back. Some serious revamping needs to occur here, both physically and in management. There are literally HUNDREDS of other places that would be more attractive, even if it isn't as attractive of a location.

Worst experience ever. If I could give a negative rating, I would. I went to NYC for business and booked a room at the Radisson Hotel Midtown Fifth Ave. The first room they gave me had no internet. They said that the room was located in an area of the hotel that does not get internet. They said they would move me to another room. After repacking my things, I moved to a second room. But the bathroom in the second room was broken. I asked the front desk to send someone to fix it, and they sent a person who verified that the bathroom was broken. The person said they had no engineer on site so they wouldn't be able to fix it. I waited another 30 minutes for the staff to find me a solution, for a total of 2 hours waiting and moving from one room to another. Finally, I ran out of patience and time and told them this was unacceptable and that I would move to another hotel. They did not apologize or offer any type of assistance or compensation. The hotel still charged my credit card for one night, even though I didn't spend the night at the hotel! I called Radisson customer service but they refused to refund my money. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never experience something like this. I will never stay at a Radisson hotel.

Nice location, lousy service, no food, no valet parking, no hot water! Totally not worth the effort. Save your $$ and book somewhere else! Of course they blame everything on covid/Zombie Apocalypse! Just an excuse not to offer the level of service expected..

Thank you for posting a review. We are truly glad to learn that you are delighted with our strategic location. On the other hand, please accept our sincerest apologies if your stay was anything less than satisfying due to the availability of a breakfast, hot water as well as the valet parking and if the level of service you received from our staff did not meet your expectations at that time. This is certainly not the kind of experience we would want you to have. Your feedback will be forwarded to the hotel management to ensure overall quality is up to brand standards. It is our hope that you will consider returning to stay with us again, so that we may have the opportunity to offer you a visit that is nothing less than excellent.
