We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 3 nights for our girls trip! With 4 girls, 2 being nyc first timers we chose the hotel because of its proximity to must see sightseeing stops in walking distance. We shared a double room with 4 girls and had enough space to accommodate all

Hard to beat this location in Manhattan East. Easy walking distance to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Empire State Building, Restaurants, Convenience Stores, and CVS! There is a GREAT Bakery called "Buttercup's" South of the hotel about a block. The rooms were quiet, clean,

Stayed at this location for three nights in early March. Got a great rate to stay Sunday as part of a Weekender Package. They put a $50 hold per day on your bill when you get there, but it is taken off in full if you have no extra charges. Right off 3rd Avenue and extremely

Excellent rate for a mid-town location. The staff are very helpful. The room was small but adequate. the arrangement of the bathroom was awkward, as we had to dance around to open the shower door. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, the hotel provides excellent value for money.

Which view is city view? North facing or south facing rooms?
I was north facing. It was a nice view however this building is not very tall and unfortunately the buildings surroinding it are much taller, therefore blocking any real ‘view’. I would say choose a higher floor north facing if you want a quieter room. The lower you are the more street noise you hear. The north facing street is a one way street, cutting down on the noise level. Hope that helps.

All the stores just mentioned plus a Staples at 675 Third Ave. Advantage is if your son has a problem he can go to the Staples in State College PA to get it fixed. Best wishes for your son.

Is there affordable parking nearby??
There is an App called Best Parking, if you download it. It will provide you with a list of parking lots and their prices. We only provide Valet parking at the hotel for $65 plus tax.
