Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

This hotel was centrally located, less than a $50 Uber (with tip) from La Guardia. We walked to Times Square, Carnegie Hall, and it was easy to get transportation to the ferry for The Statue of Liberty. It was a short distance to the nearest post office, there were lots of food options around, and taking in a Broadway show on the fly was a real treat. I want to take a moment to especially recognize Winford, one of the people in guest service at this location. He, and an older gentleman that was a doorman, were the kindest employees at this hotel and were very helpful. It was a family trip, but my daughter was staying at a nearby hotel with her school and I stayed at Hilton with my parents. We had rooms on the same floor so we were close to each other, but as small as the rooms were: I know they love each other, four days in such close quarters would have driven me mad. The bathrooms were lovely and bright as well as clean. There was desk space for me to use my laptop and get plenty of work done, but unless you want to eat in bed or a reading chair: plan on having dinner out. They have an attached restaurant that we didn’t get to try because we had plans elsewhere each evening, but there was a lovely 24hr restaurant around the corner where I had an early (4am) breakfast one day. I decided to walk up the flights of stairs in the hotel for exercise, which I could only seem to get to from the 2nd floor, but it was a nice way to get the blood flowing. All in all, I would stay there again If I were just in town for a few days like we were this time, but wouldn’t stay there on a longer trip unless we reserved a room block with a cheaper price or got better service. The text check-in from the front desk to see how our stay was going was nice but didn’t actually do anything. Winford and the front doorman in the morning were the highlight of the hotel service for us.

Not a comfortable stay especially for the price I paid I expected more especially from Hilton. I was told to receive more from the customer service rep and that did not happened. They did not even try to fix or make the stay any better.

This hotel is conveniently located near central park, carnegie hall, moma and many good restaurants and cafes within a walking distance. The hotel is very clean, staff are friendly, rooms are large enough and well equipped. Considering the price and facilities it was good value for money.

Small room, very adequate bathroom. This is a great place to stay for a theater week-end. A half block to Broadway and 10 blocks to Times Square. It's also an easy walk to Central Park. The restaurant attached is just okay. The staff is friendly and obliging. The elevators are inadequate for the number of floors/rooms and there were some long wait times. All-in-all it was very satisfactory for the purpose.
