I found this hotel on TripAdvisor, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service, the room and its many amenities and nice touches.... I do like having a Nespresso machine and capsules. The room was small but it had a view of the Empire state. One small negative, though: the breakfast was unequal, with great eggs Benedict but...

We stayed on the 19th floor as a family of 4 in a two double bed room over looking the Empire State Building - the room was cosy but very comfortable with storage under the beds for open suitcases. The staff were excellent and the room very clean. We loved it! The bar upstairs is great (no under 21's) and...

My husband, children ( ages 7 & 4) and I just returned from NYC. I am thrilled I selected the Archer Hotel for accommodations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met during our stay. The location makes it easy to reach various parts of the City, and the hotel itself ( and rooftop bar)...

The Archer is a very good hotel. Our stay was great. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and painless. We had a room with a view of the Empire State Building, which was nice. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice. They even mailed me my belt and pants that my wife left in the room. For free. Only complaint was...

Best staff and room quality in the city. A real price performer. The rooms are clean and feel new even though I have stayed there for two years. The staff makes you feel very welcome and are quick to meet your needs.

Archer is my go to hotel when staying in NYC. It's close to lots of great spots, Time Square, theater district, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park. Yet you don't feel like you stuck in the middle of tourist hell. The hotel is very nice and modern, always clean and the customer service is top noth.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
