We love small hotels. And the Broome is one of the best. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is outstanding and the location is perfect if you like, as we do, SOHO, Little Italy, NOLITA, NOHO, Greenwich Village and even West Village. All within walking distance. Our biggest surprise was the complementary breakfast. So Tasty that we even cancelled reservation for brunch at Balthazar. Everyone did their best to make our 9 nights stay a perfect experience.
Great hotel in a perfect location. We loved the small size of the hotel, the interior courtyard is lovely, and the staff are all incredibly kind and friendly. We would love to return. The bed was very comfortable and the room is very quiet - we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was even in the courtyard when the street noise is...non-stop. Truly a hidden gem in SoHo.
Very clean, nice toiletries and beds. The breakfast is absolutely perfect, egg salad, smoked salmon, made to order coffees, and fruit. The hotel is very quiet (our room was on the courtyard). Close to multiple subway stattions. We really enjoyed our stay.
Looking for a boutique hotel in southern Manhattan? The Broome could be your answer.... Lovely room with every amenity you could ask for provided. Simple, but satisfying breakfast options and courteous, helpful staff, willing to help with queries and such. Good location for exploring - near Little Italy, not far from Chinatown and Metro station a couple of blocks away. We'd happily go back should we return to NYC in the future :-)
Perfectly located with charming and friendly staff. Flo set us up beautifully at check in and the front desk has been consistently delightful throughout our stay. Came in a little chilly tonight and they brought hot cocoas up to the room! Breakfast is perfect, room is compact with lovely amenities. Super quiet. Building is fascinating. Great stay!!
I stayed at the Broome for the final night of a week-long stay in NYC, after 5 nights at a hotel near Times Square where a work event was happening. And wow—what an oasis of quiet, charm, and uniqueness this sweet little spot was! I had one of the smaller Queen rooms facing Broome Street, but if there was street noise down below, I didn't hear it; instead, the room was blissfully quiet, a fabulous refuge from the city. And the room definitely wasn't huge, but it also never felt cramped. I ate breakfast in the sweet courtyard, and what a delight! The food was really good, the coffee delicious, and the surroundings really wonderful—a slice of New York with true old-school charm.
This hotel is a special place. Highly recommend staying there. With only 14 rooms, it offers a boutique experience in a bustling city. A welcome respite for travelers. The front desk man was very helpful (I did not get his name), and Edwardo welcomed me at breakfast. Mitchell Gold furniture, upscale amenities and a friendly staff will insure that I return! The hotel rooms were very clean too. Can't wait to return!
I absolutely loved this hotel! I love boutique hotels because I feel that they are more personal and homey, and the Broome did not disappoint. Not only is it a great location, but the atmosphere, decor, staff, cafe, and lobby area were all amazing. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. I will definitely be booking this hotel again next time I come back to NYC.
Booked a room as I’m trying to get back on the road for work. As this latest covid surge grew, i knew my trip was going to be canceled. Almost a month before my trip i tried to cancel and realized i booked a room that you could not cancel within 30 days. I did not realize this when i booked and never seen the option before on hotel. Com where i booked. Hotel was unwilling to offer refund even when i called. Just beware this hotel is not accommodating at all. And I’ve stayed there once before and it was nice- but nothing special. Suggest you can for sure do better in NYC.
We chose the Broome because it was the closest hotel to our son who recently moved into the neighborhood. We stayed for four nights over Christmas. What a terrific surprise, it’s a quaint, tastefully appointed boutique hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. The courtyard was decorated with a Xmas tree which was a nice touch for the holiday. The included breakfast and fresh pressed coffee were great and available most of the morning. The outdoor courtyard provided plenty of fresh air circulating into the public areas and guest rooms which was nice especially during covid. It was also the quietest hotel we have stayed in anywhere in NYC. We look forward to staying agin soon!
