Clean, fresh and cool. These apartments in NYC saved my trip, everything's pretty much brand new. This really was a home a way from home. The staff are very accommodating and helpful & has all the things you would require for a short stay and is very nicely located about 10-15mins walk from Times Square. When I come back to... More

My family of three stayed at the AKA UN during the month of September. The hotel staff, including the front desk, doormen, maintenance staff and cleaning crew, all went out of their way to be extremely polite and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern and the kitchen appliances, dishes and cookware in our room appeared to be brand... More

We stayed at AKA United Nations for just under 3 months over summer in a one bedroom apartment. It was perfect as a home base while working in Manhattan. Modern feeling and high quality appliances, including a great 4K TV in the main living area and a reasonably good HD TV in the bedroom. Internet speed was excellent, about 24Mbps... More

My sister and I needed to bring my parents to the city for a month to be near to us. The woman who helps us care for them at their home in New Jersey (they are in their mid nineties) was on vacation. We brought them to the city to stay at AKA during the winter as well. AKA United... More

Nice property, good location for anything taking place at the UN, but requires a stay of 30 days or more. If you can get it for a shorter time, take it - you'd need to pay much more for this comfort. Only weekly cleaning, though, Simple breakfast is served in the lobby.Fantastic place to stay, but not the most easy... More

I accompanied my husband on a business trip and stayed at AKA UN. Luxury serviced apartments in a great location in NYC. The architecture and design is absolutely beautiful, modern, minimalist. Everything is brand new. I love the fact that there is nothing more and nothing less in terms of objects in the common areas and apartments than most of... More

I used this hotel as a home base for a quick get away to the city. I wanted easy access to Broadway shows and dinner with friends. Yet, I needed to sleep so wanted it to be quiet and clean. AKA has it.

Really enjoyed staying here - staff always smiling and welcoming and the apartments were recently renovated so it was like staying in a brand new place. 1BR was so spacious, it really felt like a home away from home. Bulgari products and bathrobes provided. In-room safe. Security was good and servicing/housekeeping is once a week which is sufficient. Gym is... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
