Totally exceptional in all areas Highly recommended for its location and their ability to deliver such a wonderful service. Cleanliness of room and the maid service throughout our stay was thoroughly professional.
Great location to a lot of venues and stores to shops. The check-in process went smoothly and they were able to store our luggage while we go out to shop around until our room was available. I will return.
Great location. Just off Times Square. Easy in Easy out with Ubers. Close to everything and central to do what a tourist needs to do. If you are a walker, great central place to walk all over. We were on the 54th floor facing the H&M building and it was epic. Amazing views, kind staff. Room was clean and a great use of space. As a frequent traveler this hotel exceeded expectations. Gym was good and had 2 pelotons, free weights up to 50, kettlebells up to 40. Coffee bar in the base floor was very helpful for quick bites to eat.
Loved this hotel! Welcoming and helpful staff, great little lobby, tons of amenities. Wish I had made it to the gym or bar, but the view from my 21st floor corner room was stunning and the heated bathroom floor so lovely in the snowy and very cold weather. Neat, clean, and modern. Great location with easy access to subway, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, etc. It was low season, so very reasonable but we will certainly be back another time for a stay. Food options in hotel limited, but a plethora right outside the door! Rooftop Bar 54 breathtaking look at Times Square.
We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again! We booked an oversized queen room (for 2 adults and 1 child) and it was fantastic, so much extra space compared to a normal NYC hotel room. Pros - very friendly customer service at front desk - excellent location, one minute walk and you’re in the middle of Times Square! 3 min walk to the Lion King - luggage storage available, no charge - very comfortable beds and our floor was very quiet, we didn’t hear any neighbours etc - store on main level was very convenient, but wish it was open longer hours (closed early Sunday/Monday) - Starbucks and pharmacy directly across the road and McDonalds right on the corner was also super convenient - free water and in room coffee was great, as well as the mini fridge - very clean and spacious room, housekeeping was excellent and very attentive, and toiletries in our room were refreshed daily so we never ran out of anything (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion were all very good quality) - also brought us robes and shower caps upon request - good security at elevator to ensure only guests accessing the hotel, provided added level of comfort Cons - elevator issues our first day so it took forever to get an elevator, but luckily it was fixed by our second day. It took 20 mins+ to get an elevator down and we were late for our dinner reservation… so we would have been really frustrated had this issue continued any longer. - no concierge, we asked for recommendations one day but were given a very generic answer… so we used trip advisor for everything after that!!…
Love this hotel! Love the people who work there! You can't ask for a better location. The staff at the hotel were so kind and helpful. You could tell that they love their jobs. Best customer service I've had in a long time. We stayed in a suite with a King bed. It was so spacious and super clean. Despite being right at Times Square, it was very quite. The housekeeper and the front desk staff were awesome. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is Bar 54. They advertise the 'best selfie' from the deck but the deck was closed and is closed all winter, so we weren't allowed to go out there. We also didn't have a seat by the window, which we had requested. I understand that just because we request a window seat doesn't automatically guarantee that we'll get one, but there were seats available and we were not allowed to switch (reason stated: they were filled up with reservations). However, when other people came in after us and asked to move seats, they were re-seated... and by the time we left (1 1/2 hours later when our time was up), there were still a ton of seats available. Despite that, I still give the hotel 5 stars. I didn't let that one experience ruin my stay!…
Pros: - location: if you want to be in tourist central, this hotel can’t be beaten. - cleanliness: housekeeping is excellent and efficient, our room was cleaned to a high standard daily. - Quiet: despite being close to Times Square, our room was very quiet, no problems sleeping. Cons: - location: also a con as the hotel is basically IN Times Square with all the attendant problems (smell of drugs, loudness, bouncers in the lobby 24/7 presumably to keep guests safe). - room quality: the room is pretty tired. Bedding and duvet are the thinnest I’ve ever seen. Blood stains (admittedly tiny) on the bedding were a particular low point. - Amenities: there are none! No in-room dining option other than grabbing a bag of food from the ludicrously pricey downstairs deli. No restaurant at all. No glasses in the room, just plastic cups. This hotel has generally strong reviews. I’m not sure why. Perhaps this review is more a reflection of us than the hotel but we wouldn’t stay again. …
Great location to Times Square and Broadway shows. The room was very clean and spacious (for NY) enough for our family of 3. Noise was minimal and it was a great place to rest at the end of the day. Will stay again when we visit next!
Excellent location, two minutes walk from Time Square. Coffee shop, deli, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Staff could not do enough for you. Hotel was clean and excellent value for money. Would have no hesitation in recommending
The room conditions and views (especially in high floors over 30th floor which costs more) are awesome. But do not expect any dining experience here; this hotel does not have a full restaurant for breakfast, and the breakfast room service is absolutely overpriced for the value.
