I am very loyal to Marriott. I'm a lifetime platinum member and currently a premier platinum member and I have to say this may be one of the worst stays I've had. My wife and I took a weekend in NYC to catch a show and spend some time together. The location is fantastic, but that is about all that...

We stayed at The JW Marriot on central Park South over the weekend. The room was spotless, fabulous, the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was also spotless and the shampoo & conditioner made my hair feel great ! It was a business trip, and we had an excellent dinner on Saturday evening. The shrimp was huge, the pasta bar was...

Very nice people on phone. A fabulous location. Dropped off our luggage an hour early and they managed to misplace it instead of taking to room as asked. Got to room, called down 3 times and then my husband had to go down and find it. Bed turn down service is optional and you have to ask for it, didn't...

Dear Knowboston, We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your stay. While we are pleased that you enjoyed our central location and fine service from our bellmen, we are disappointed that you encountered two errors on our part. We aim to provide seamless service that not only meets your needs, but anticipates them. We will use your feedback as...

This is a classic, elegantly appointed hotel on Central Park South. Fluted marble columns in the lobby, Art Deco appointments, wide corridors, small rooms with oddly configured bathrooms. We stayed 2 nights mid-week. Due to my wife's illness, we had to make last minute changes to our reservations, which could have cost us more than $600, but the hotel was...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights over the Independence Day weekend. The hotel is lovely inside, especially the foyer. Rooms are a good size for New York and if you are lucky to have a high floor room overlooking Central Park then the views are fantastic. Staff were efficient and friendly.

I am a luxury hotelier so I look at every aspect of a hotel. I loved this hotel! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
