Perfect place to stay in NYC if you do wanto to spend to much money but stay in the heart of the city. Located a minute walk from Times Square, it's a perfect place to spend your stay in Manhattan. The building looks old, and the kitchen is quite messy, but still very comfortable. They also have a few tables...

In my opinion this hostel is perfect. It's very clean and the beds were really comfortable. With myself was just another female and we felt completely safe at all times. We opted for the 4 bed room which was very basic yet exactly what we needed. This hostel is best for its location. It's as central as you would like...

I hope this re opens as it was a great place to stay. Walk down the alley and bam! Times Square. Rooms were ok and shared bathroom but cheap. Beverly quiet for location. Deli next door is amazing. I can only hope someone will get this place up and running.

They lied to me about my booking. They lied about what it should cost and over-charged me by 140 Euros. The A/C was broken. They were slow about fixing it. When they fixed it after 3 days, it dripped water on me the entire night while I slept. They did not change my room. The staff were nice, but the...

The Big Apple Hostel was an affordable, convenient, and clean NYC hostel. The location was perfect for theater goers. You had easy access to public transportation and within minutes of many famous NYC attractions. It is sad to see it is now closed.

It has been a long time since I stayed at this hostel, but I remember that it was really well located and for an excellent price. Around the corner is Times Square and Broadway and you are close to buses and the subway so a great place to base yourself on a budget in NYC. Travelled her in 1997 so...

The big Apple hostel was clean, safe and in an awesome location. About 200m from Times Square. It was amazing! There was however no kitchen, which I had read there was. We had issues with checking in with our credit card, and the reception lady was not very nice about it. However all other reception people we had over the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
